Heart Day

Experiment #863
Just a little animation. There's no sound yet, btw.

It looks better in a loop as a gif in animation shop, but blogger wanted an avi, n this is what happened... I'm not happy with the larger size n fuzzies, plus my frame-dwell timing is off a bit- oh well. The gif wouldn't upload without errors..

The video wants this format size, but wouldn't downsize as an avi.

It was the first image made for "Val" post, 2009. I really wanted to get the good one in that post- another day, on another type of url, I guess. It's not too good in this form, bad size, bad timing of frames, n all, so that's why I hid it back here in the blog month which never exisited.

.Hope you had a good Heart Day four years in the future from this posting anyway!

Two Mystery Answer

.

.
Here is the original photo used for the "Two Mystery" ESR post in November 2009. If you clicked on those pics to increase the size, you could notice a clue in the images titles "pLotFX" plus a number. "FX" stands for "effects."
.
"pLot" is an abbreviated form of "Parking lot." But it isin't just any parking lot. It's a pic of the village pier newly painted in anticipation of the oncoming tourist season. The lot is empty of vehicles, due to the bitter wind n frigid cold I remember was there when I took the shot.
.
In the BG is a famous Pier-side restaurant that sells Salt-Water Taffy n lunch food.

Pic Storage

This is from a 2005 news story from Martha's Vineyard on The Boston Channel, which I had several links to, because I didn't wanna use their pic on my blog. I just discovered, however, that they deleted the article from the archives, so here's a spot for the amazing creature to show my readers...

It's only a Parking lot lamp at the supermarket, n the light spot caused by my cam lens. With my eyes I could see it in four sections, but the cam blurred the over-exposed brightness all together.

This is the original photo used in both images in the "Slippery" Post, January 2010.
.
It's three of my little deck trees being snowed on in the dark today- The central fir tree is originally from my Gramps' camp on South Twin Lake in Northern Maine. It was the size of my little finger when brought here in 1991. Now it's over four feet in it's container.
.
These used to play Xmas tree for me, when I had an outlet available to plug into. I'd like a yard to plant them all in.

Head CU2

SnaggleTooth
...
...
...
Finally, I got a Digi cam n can update the old headshot! I'm actually posting this December 01, 2007. This was taken November 29, 2007, within an hour of recieving the cam. I just like to store my profile pics here...
...
Not only was I not dressed up, I was wearing three layers to stay warm, had woken up just before receiving the gift. My hair was yet unbrushed, n I was sleepy. I've got circles under my eyes, n I don't like smiling much, especially on my pic.
...
The portrait is one of a series taken of me n by me, using a mirror, so it's a mirror-likeness. The focus is just a bit fuzzy, but I like it that way, because it doesn't show my wrinkles! In contrast to the side profile, previous "profile" pic, I look a bit different in a three-quarters view.
My hair was too long to all get in that mirror view, but you get the idea-

Time is on my Side

Yes, it is!
.
Wait a minute... Why does it say in the SnaggleTooth profile, "On Blogger since May 2005," but there's a Month from April 2005 with postings in the archive?
.
Because silly, we used to have to put our pics online to get them to appear on blogger, n it was easy to predate postings. That's where I chose to store my profile pic before the Picassa albums for blogger came into being.
.
Why are all these annoying dot-paragraph breaks in the ESR text when I copy n paste it some where else? Because Blogger refused to correctly publish my double-spacing section breaks, so I use a period character n color it close to the page back-ground hue. Blogger still continues to wreak havok with my text design at times. I went to college to learn to format text nicely, n blogger doesn't co-operate well...
.
Why are so many postings listed with a post time stamp of 11:55 PM?
Because, observant reader, those posts were written on that date, referring to that date, but the time was changed to protect the innocent because the publish button wasn't pressed until after midnight for procrastinative reasons. That's so I remember I changed the date stamp upon publication when I see it (just for my head counting).
.
This post was written in December on the 4th in 2008, but placed early in this non-existant in April '05 section for explainitive info-
I may choose to add more intro stuff at any time n place it here by changing my post date.
.
The clock ticks n the calender pages flip, but I can post three n a half years ago anytime!
