Two Mystery
.
.
.
Twice altered with different effects, these unique images both came from the same simple subject photo found on my Mystery Roll in September. I'm wasting alot of time doing more n more of these fun experiments lately.
.
.
.
I'm working hard to get more fun into my free time. Really, I should be doing laundry- I find both of these appealing, n can't choose between them.
.
I love that they look nothing like the ordinary thing it is in reality...
As a gallery/picture framing owner, I have to give you props on some REAL creativity. Like you, I need to be doing laundry, too! Thanks for sharing how you spend your time - it's very beautiful!
the bottom one looks def like a parking lot. perhaps with bleachers in the bg. the top one is anyone's guess. btw.. expect a box in the mail in a few days.
The second one reminds me of Munch's "The Scream," without all that after-trauma I usually suffer from glimpsing it.
I actually picked up my 4 mystery rolls from Walgreens today, 'cept they are on disc, looking forward to peeking at them when I get home (I'm at The Library.) I'm sure one of those throw-away cameras was at least 5 years old. At least!
Very cool! I love playing with images in Gimp (Linux's answer to PhotoShop), and applying different effects. It's fascinating how you can alter an object so that it seems to become another thing entirely.
And experimenting with visual effects is so much more fun than doing laundry! :)
Bubbie, Welcome to ESR comments! If it's not creative, it isin't me! Thanks! I'll go visit you too, soon-
MB, I thought you'd know for sure like the last time, having lived here, n knowing the possibilities. Guess noted. btw- you're alot more on the ball than me! E's is in the box but not in the mail yet- tomorrow or Monday.
Talon, Thanks. I haven't played nearly enough in the past few years, unless you count blogging...
JanF, Or his "A Starry Night"- same movement theme in the geometry of shapes, I think. I Studied his stuff in Art History. Best of luck finding tons of priceless treasure in your mystery roll extravaganza!
BB, Jannie leaves you in the car when she drinks Beer? n Then you Hafta drive her home too?!! Good guess noted!
ThommaLyn, Thankyou! Are your typing fingers blistered yet? I'll hafta go check- "Gimp" I'll have to research it. I bought Jasc Paintshop Pro 7.0 years ago, n it has good photo tools, too. It came with Animation Shop 2.0- I should play with that some more- So many things are more fun than laundry. Too bad I need clean work clothes...
Artist Alert!
I create all kinds of things. Closet musician, song-writer, Story, NF writer, Book Designer, Poet, Painter, n Sculptor. Working another job tho. Long hair, fairly ancient.
Where's the Dough? Maybe I'll get paid some instead of eating it. I'll get there one day soon, because I'm very determined n hard-working. Some one has to do it! As usual, I'll volunteer.
Time n energy helps.

Cool photos!
I don't think it's a waste of time to enjoy yourself. We forget as adults that's it's not only fun to play - it's important!
Have a fabulous weekend, Snaggle!
Awesome, Blossom!!
