They've Grown

Here's the same containers in August, appearing golden in late afternoon light with more blossoms on the ferns n Brown-eyed Susans. Mischief is down on the main Deck.
There's many other plant containers n some little evergreen trees further down the deck.
In the past 24 hours, my deck has been littlered with many brown, fallen leaves from MapleBeard Tree out front already.

Xray, you wouldn't believe how many pics of her I haven't posted... I like how her tongue is hangin out-

Fleen, I've been practicing since I lived in Weweantic. I started trying to do veggies here, but they were midgets n the squirrels ate it all, but at least they leave my herbs alone so the cooking is tasty. This year I have Rosemary, Sage, Orange Mint, n my fav, Lavender- which is very tough to keep alive.
Mom n Mrs Jones taught me quite a bit about plants.

Snags, it couldn't have been Mom, we both have the dreaded 'black thumb', must have been dad...

I don't know why cats like to eat plants...it is just bizarre like the compulsion to knock crap over

Fleen, Mom kept alot of house plants going for awhile. I have her Xmas Cactus off-springs. I'm also doing African violets, but mine are blooming, can't remember hers with flowers. She also had some good luck with many kinds of Roses in the yard.
Dad did have tasty Tomatoes & green beans!

Janus, it's definately a compulsion. She'll eat lettuce, cooked brocolli, & spinach too! N "plant balls" (peas) are her fav!
