Another One
Well Summer is moving along, n I'm walking much slower this week. Actually limping a bit with a newly broken pinky toe. Something very heavy at work unexpectedly slammed down on it.
A great excuse to go extra toe-dipping during this weeks afternoon high tide, as the salt soaks are sorely needed for quick healing. Alot of extra sitting down with feet up too. I may need to let the lawn over-grow this week.
Standing up at work for eight hours after that injury was so difficult! I used some frozen bagels as ice packs every few hours. It hasn't stopped me from doing what I need to tho- just more painful.
Back to the grind again-

Bless your pinky toe. It is the worse injury since there is nothing to be done but hurt until it doesn't hurt anymore.
Ouch! Is there anything they can do about a broken toe? That sounds painful.

I admire your work ethic, Snaggle - that on-the-job injury might have sent most people home. Especially since you have to stand all during your shift.

I see a clown, too. But that boat photo is breathtaking, Snaggle. I'm so so sorry about your toe. Broke my big toe years ago and it's a slow painful recovery. Definitely let the lawn grow over and let your toe heal. I am laughing at the bagel ice packs. Ingenuity at it's finest. :)
Gran Annie, I couldn't decide what that pic depicted until you guessed! I just liked it- Thanks. Darn, I ran out of whipped cream the other day n want some on my pudding- need more chocolate for all this pain!
LLcoolJ, I had to find some over-sized shoes. Just tape it up n put it up when I can every few hours. Lots of salt soaking- very bruised. Stairs are the pits!

I see a Sumi wrestler on a purple beach carrying a chocolate fondue set on a warped plywood board. It's warped b cuz he left it out in the rain after his son's barmitzvah party that went on into the wee wee wee hours.

I'll check in with ya from the beach where my family and i are lucky enough to be awaycaying off to for the next 3 days. Taking my laptop. WIFI at the pool. And funny -- about 3 months ago for like $5.00 I bought a smashing hibiscusly-decorated pair of SHADED reading glasses. Will I be cool by the pool, or what!!??? Bringing my tripod too. Hope to catch the fam. in a shot or 2.

Jannie, the bagels thawed out n got fluffy in inside-out gloves, so I did bring it home n used it for pizza dough for supper. mmmm. Cheap Walmart shoes. Need new ones every 8 weeks like clockwork. Now having trouble wearing any shoes! Sumo- I see it! Don't even think a kiss would feel too good- Didn't have enough time to load there this week yet- maybe today. So much wasted time on this thing- costing money too. Much salt soak at the beach this week here-
