Swimmin'

The bright, sunny-looking form is glorious to behold as was the rare, ten minutes of sunshine peeking between the clouds to bask in late today. We've been getting so much rainfall that the ground is over-saturated. The container garden n mowing work is on hold, n I need to rest my weary feet anyway.

It was a fair, mostly cloudy errand trip, windy, n cool. I must've missed some flooding near the market recently, because there were sand-bags at the lower end of the plaza sidewalk...

Too much rain does wear you down. After two weeks of work n last week's one Day Off, today I totally lacked motivation for additional chores after errands n laundry- tho I should've done more. Last week the mess was left to grow, so now I need to totally clean everything in here again, especially the floors.  Now tomorrow we're expecting rain again. The next day too...

The weather's been so un-summer-like for June here. I like looking at this pic of walking thru the front beach water, (I was wearing shorts), on my way home the last week of May when it was hot those few days.
Sometimes sunshine equals energy to me.

We're getting the same weather here - rain, rain and yet more rain. Even as I type this, it's been raining since six o'clock last night and it's raining now. The temps have at least moderated again so I hope we're not in for one of those wash-out summers. True about the grass, but with the rain it's growing so long it's hard to cut the darned stuff when the rain finally stops!

Hope the sun and the warm temps return for you soon, Snaggle!

I am sitting hiding inside today waiting for some nasty storm to come through, but it appears to be just missing us.

Cloudia, Thanks. I always like the wave shadow design from sunlight in the water. Aloha!

Talon, My lawn is knee-high n vines are creeping all over the house during the interim. All out of mower fuel now too- need a can field trip. Sometimes I use the hand-sickle first but need time n energy. Back to one section a day again! Sigh-

Tabor, I never stay in if the storm doesn't show up! I love outside- Consider it a bonus. Lucky you, we have flood warnings again tonight!

Look at that no-bunion foot! (I have bunions on both feet and am always checking others feet for them.) :)

Lovely walking in the sand...

I really need the sun too. We've had days and days of rain here in the UK, in fact the sun has just come out and I managed to get outside and do one flower container with plants.

Love the foot! Ha!

Lynn, You're doing long walks with bunions? I never wear heels or clogs, which may be why- The water was actually over my ankles, kind of an illusion from the sunlight.

LLcoolJ, I have tons of projects waiting- so soggy some new plantings have drowned, n seeds from try 3 haven't sprouted at all. If course the Petunias are still ok... Good luck with the rest of yours! Thanks

Love the one foot changed to two feet surrounded by a multitude of faces and random eyes in a burst of sun filled energy:)

Gran Annie, I can definitely see an energy entity with multiple eyes. Amazing how symmetry makes our eyes seek faces. That salt water felt so good on my sore feet too!
