How about a brownbox zuchini salad with tomatoes n heirloom purple peppers, with sides of dragon n dinosaur...

I scored some homegrown veggies during MB's recent visit to BBM's down the hill. I only had a few minutes to visit n had to skip sleeping to make time. Now Day Off in Hurricane Issac's remnants is perfect for stewing tomatoes, making sauce, pizza, salad, n spanish rice too.

It is so interesting how the common box of vegetables came out looking like a futuristic control panel. The dragon came out looking like a robot:)

Gran Annie, Yes, you can never tell what will happen until the formula is applied... organic n plastic to futuristic!

Lynn, In my garden the peas are dried up, n had small cukes, eaten already- good tho! Beets to pick next. The Dragon was a present to Little B from me on his 5 Bday this year. I just recently fixed his wings with superglue so they don't fall off... from the "How to train your Dragon" film line.

David, you always were the artsy type with the cement m wood projects. Now that I do it- I can't stop! Good luck with your pic fun! Thanks.

Neo, I love the action in that top pic- all made with the pic below too- hope you scooped up all the bubble gum-

Neo, Exactly! Always unique n un-imaginable until seen n scrutinized-

LLcoolJ, Weird is my middle name, Well it should be... I had to stand on a chair for that shot- n Monty the motorized T-rex poses well I think.
All but 5 tomatoes are stewed into sauce n half eaten. Zuchini gone. Corn cobs gone. Ate Spanish rice made with tomatoes n pepper today. planning pasta n green salad tomorrow. They taste so good compared to store food!

Neo, slacking at what? I've been working like a fiend, as in my workload has been doubled recently n I need major rest after missing days of sleep this week- Posting has to wait.

MB, I did make some sauce with the paste tomatoes mixed with the reg ones, n put them on flattened biscuit dough for quick pizza-mmm. Pasta time tomorrow- angel-hair. Plus had another mini-cuke salad today from the deck.
Well at least you didn't get a twister today! Close call-

MB, Tonight I'm making a $2 shank stew in the slow cooker, containing the last uncooked tomato. I have a jar of sauce in the frig. It went really well with some whole wheat angel Hair yesterday. Now I only have half a pepper to go! n 1 little cuke-
