What's New?
Already it's the third day of 2012, n I've written the wrong year down three times! Can't seem to stop my hand from the automatic scrolling...
For my first free day of the year, freezing temps are taking over. It's been unbelievably above normal all but a few days since summertime, so I shouldn't complain about the sudden chill in here...
Besides the needed errands n laundry chores, my only big plan is trying to get enough sleep. I'm so glad my work-week is over n I'm not required to be anywhere by a deadline finally.
For so many weeks I've been operating on "TIRED" n it finally caught up to me n smacked me upside the head with a cold turned into a painfull sinus infection. The past few days at work I've said the words "Thank God for Peppermint" more times than I can count. All the mints n candy canes are used up- I need more-
I'm not sure when I'll get out during daylight to get new pics again, so I've been trolling thru the ancient files in search of unused examples to try effects on. Today's offering was found in the May 2007 file, from almost 5 years ago. I like the top the best.

At least you are motivated to work on your photos. OUr weather is similar and I am guessing everyone will come down with an illness once this new cold front grabs us. Drink lots of fluids and do get more sleep!
Neo, Here- (hands him the blue ribbon). What as rare occassion. Still wondering if the deleted was you? It took me 3 days to get any decent altered images to post, btw- sometimes they're difficult to find. Light definition in the third is definately niftier. Been drinking mostly cranberry-
Tabor, I'm very visually motovated, n have been finding less than postable examples for days now- It's fun for me to do. I was too run down when the cold got me- but the sinus infection shouldn't have happened. At work I don't get enough drink breaks (can't on the production floor). Trying to make up today. Thanks. I like the lava one too, but my fave is the last one, the real natural beach I'd love to be at. BUt maybe not in this cold. :)

Sorry you're under the weather. I hope you can get more of the peppermint fix! We've suddenly plunged into freezing temps after a New Year's Day of torrential rains. I prefer the snow at this point. :)
JanF, Glad you enjoyed your beach pic tour today- My 2007 Feb pics of that place are named "Ocean of Ice" n I risked my life to get the pics- Windchill -50F n all iceburgs to walk on covering the beach. I'm so cold today I don't have to leave the house, n won't! Was 11F before I went to bed, n the windows iced over... not great beach weather!

Talon, Yes, but so well defined compared to the washed out sun glare in the original, n prettier than the blue monotone version! Snow can feel warmer than cold, windy rain- We're very frozen today. Score: The Dollar Tree had candy cane boxes on sale for .25 cents! Really helps me stop coughing. Thanks

You would need values assigned to Energy, Mass, or Constant to find the answer. Didn't you take physics?
Snag - Actually no, I didn't take that in school. Never planned on working in a field where I'd need to do that kind of advanced math theory.
Not to say that I don't get into some deeper science stuff but for practical purposes I'm an idiot when it comes to higher math.
Neo, My Physics teacher was actually the Spanish Teacher, n along with the 10 folks I was in the class with, ended up teaching him he didn't know what he was doing almost every class- which was fun for us n embarrassing for him! I like the theories n history more than the math.
