Sunrise

Photo by SnaggleTooth Nov 26 2011
After a long period of camera avoidance, I finally found something I wanted to take a pic of outside the kitchen window. Sunrise over the boat ramp beach at B-cove was so colorful, I opened the side window n zoomed to get a decent shot.

Although days have been crazy warm here for the end of November, early am.s have been chilly. I loath letting the expensive, minimal heat out, but the windows always fog up overnight, plus need a washing to get a pic thru them.

So many folks have been out on the road between 1 to 2 am on the way home this week-end, probably shopping or working overnight. I'm not participating in any holiday shopping this week-end. I avoid the commercialism of the holiday.

On the news there were reports of crazy violence at Walmarts over that stuff- so sad folks get so angry over things. I don't have a flat screen tv, or Playstation, or wii here. That's ok with me because I can live without it.

Did you hit any good overnight sales? n if so, what did you get?

Thought for the day:
It's not what you have, it's what you do with it...

Snaggle, it's lovely to see you and your gorgeous photos again. That is an amazing shot! I'm glad you took it and I'm really glad you shared it. It's great to be back :)

I'll never get the insanity over a piece of electronic junk, but I hate shopping the way others hate the dentist.

Lynn, Thanks. I like seeing the water-sky reflection without leaves in the way this time of year. Our Market closes at 12, I get out of work after that.

Tabor, Thanks. The temps have been super here, usually we're frozen solid by now.

Talon, Welcome back! Blogging has seemed so slow without you n your thoughtful comments- Thanks. I'm still trying to figure out where these folks are getting the cash to spend. I avoid crowds n lines myself.

I love that photo! Well done for capturing it!

I avoid the shops, I really hate it. I buy nearly all my presents for people on-line. I shop around to get a cheap price.

I'm not interested in tv, wii or playstation at all. I do love my computer though. :)

LLcoolJ, thanks. Love my sunrise view- Not surprized you don't like shopping in crowds. What a zoo, really. I might like some games if I had time for it, but I'm always busy with other things these days. I'd like a new computer sometime- Mine is 10 years old!

Neo, Hot peppers burn my mouth when I try eating them, n I get blisters! I don't wanna know how bad the spray would burn... Actually I have a really old can of that somewhere from before permits were needed. I heard there were very limited $50 Flat screen TVs.
