Shells

Sandy artifacts of Lady Slippers n Scallops

Laying in a wet bed of those here seasons before.

Thru the ages so many pulverized by tidal waves,

All Sea n Sun colors n shades bleached n reduced

To uncountable grains of time between our toes.

An ancient beach formed from minerals n bones

Becomes fan decor n womens footwear at a snails pace.

"all bleached n reduced to uncountable grains of time," such a breath-taking thought.

Your shell pictures make me think of home. Thanks for the treat. I've been sick the last few days and thoughts of home always make me feel better.

JanF, Thanks. I tried some photo based spontanteous verse, which I usually wouldn't post.

Zoey, I'm glad to oblige you-
I hope you are back up to no-stuffies, n feel better soon.

David, At least my current inbetween cold rain doesn't need shoveling-TG!

Talon, Those two scallops were particulary colorful. The colors mostly wear off a few weeks after being on the beach. thanks
