Blue Clouds
The broken, cloudy sky over the water was intensly colored the day I took that Jette pic, but the other shots of the day didn't do a good job of relaying the variety of tone like this one, sans earth reference. It was nice of the seagull to pose for me there.
.
I like the dreamy feel to the skyscape, n wanted to not keep seeing the mud-ruts below- Time to think of better things, n dream...
JanF, I just couldn't look at that another day! We may have "Hollywood East" Show up in Plymouth next year- I'd like to work for those studios- The gulls there know my face, n perform for me.
Talon, I love abstract sky-scapes, the more texture, the better. It really shows the wind. I didn' know the gull made the shot until loaded in the puter. Thanks! definately!
Janus, tonight was frozen, more precip for tamalli, snow to rain , n another joyful ride to work in it! maybe it'll melt so I don't have to shovel...
Fleen, winds were about 40mph, n it was in the lower 40F's, but windchill near 0! It was still worth the trip.
Artist Alert!
I create all kinds of things. Closet musician, song-writer, Story, NF writer, Book Designer, Poet, Painter, n Sculptor. Working another job tho. Long hair, fairly ancient.
Where's the Dough? Maybe I'll get paid some instead of eating it. I'll get there one day soon, because I'm very determined n hard-working. Some one has to do it! As usual, I'll volunteer.
Time n energy helps.

Yes, looking skywards from those lawn ruts does bring a happier feeling.
I bet that's one of those Hollywood seagulls who hang around near Boston, looking for photo ops exactly like this one you caught him (her?) in.
xo
I love clouds. They have such character. And when you see a sky like that it has such substance...like an upside-down landscape.
The gull adds just the right touch.
Beautiful shot. Definitely beats looking at the ruts!
It looks beautiful yet I am wondering where the weather is going to turn next.
Kind of like life really.
Nothing romantic about it, looks like a cold New England day to me.
Was it?
