All pics but this one were taken down at the Boulevard next to the M-cove.This side view is from my side yard vine. The blooms average 4 inches long. Altered versions are just before the originals used.

Those are beautiful. The ones around here are always orange. I've never seen pink ones.

Gran Annie, the peak of Summer I believe-

BB, isin't they nifty? The bees think they smell good. Hopefully they don't think I'm stealing their nectar.

Lynn, The seeds from them are always split orange hoods with a bright hot pink ball inside. The blooms are anywhere between the two colors, always very bright. The large vine fence by the M-cove is many decades old- perhaps centuries.

I haven't seen flowers like that for years. Do they just grow naturally? What amazing vivid colours.

LLcoolJ, They are a native vine in this area. I never saw them before I moved to this village. get alot of search hits for them tho. Thanks, of course I love the wild things I get from these.
