No Cam Do

Some experiences are wonderful to experience, but  would've been great pic subjects...

3 reasons I wanted my cam, which was at home,  Saturday evening on the 23 of June:

I wanted a pic of a surprise rainbow seen beside me during my work break as I walked in a spot-cloud sun-shower toward Little Truck.

The clouds were spread about n beautiful as the sun descended while I ate my sandwich. I knew I'd be missing a spectacular colorful sunset after I had to re-enter the windowless factory after my break.

Then a cute, little, wild, White-tailed rabbit casually hopped right by me in the truck, heading for the huge, damp lawn in the finally  much less hot n humid air to frolick n graze.
I wanted to frolick carefree too-

Today I'll settle for posting the pretty broken clouds at sunset seen today over M-cove after many hours of severe thunderstorms, n one of my friendly squirrel friends checking out the tasty Huckle-Berries right outside my window... I ate some too.

That's a great photo of the squirrel - little did he know that he was posing. :) Or maybe it was a she.

I take a small camera with me in my purse everywhere. But I am addicted to photography.

Slim would have to chase that squirrel. She seems to think they are dangerous predators and she must eradicate them from the planet. They in turn stand just outside of her reach and taunt her until she runs and then they are up the tree in the nick of time to keep their tails.

Wow that's a brave squirrel. Or just a very friendly one. :) You did well to get that shot.

Just saying huckle berry makes me smile. Lucky squirrels! How neat about the rainbow. Some things don't have to be photographed to be remembered and shared, do they? I can imagine how lovely it was after the storm, Snaggle.

Tabor, if I bring my cam in work, it will break in my pockets, or get stolen in my backpack, or fry the batteries in the car heat outside so I leave it home. I'm addicted too! Great habit... beats casino gambling!

Gran Annie, Mischief used to be that way, but now thinks they're her friends when she's out on the deck! Other cats will be attacked tho-
Teasing a dog like your squirrels is never a good idea... sometime the line will break- like with the bulldog in Tom & Jerry cartoons.

LLcoolJ, She really isin't afraid of me, due to feeding her all her life. I had the window screen open n tried to shew her away from "my berry area" but she knows I'm not dangerous... thanks.

Talon, I wish I had more berry-picking time. Only got a few so far, not as many this year due to the earlier drought. Last year I had buckets!
The rainbow made me feel very special because no one else was there to see it. I'd been having a bad time at work too. Brightened me right up.

I can just picture that cute little wild rabbit! Need no picture with your wonderful account of him (her?) and the rainbow too.

I've been camera-less some moments lately and cellphone was able to at least get some of the moments' point across. Does your phone take pix?

I liek the skwirrel a lot!

JanF, Some times with bunnies, it's difficult to tell, except for the other bunnies of course. I have an ancient, pre-paid cell with no cam. It does go online tho so itty-bitty on the display for pics. Good for text at least! Last week it had a prob with no speaker sound, n had to be reset so I didn't loose all my rolled over paid for time! Whew it still works...
