After-Light

Tuesday I had 15 minutes to get thru the market for a short list of supplies n I' d make sunset at the D-bridge on my way back home... n I would've made it- but they picked this week to re-arrange all the product isles! I'd whipped across the store until I was faced with a blank shelf where all the toilet paper had been for years. Then I realized what had happened n had to backtrack half a football field to find the new location!

Result, missing the disk of the Sun stage of the day's end transition, n this "after-light" reflection color offering...

Not a total loss, after all-

Oh I hate it when stores move everything around. I'm sure people buy less stuff because they forget things too.

Lovely photo!

They did that same thing at the Publix stores here. They rearranged all the stock so they would be consistent from store to store. It's completely different now. So when the check out guy asked me if I found everything I needed, I said, no - where's the peanut butter now? It used to be over by the oils and vinegars. He said it was on Aisle 8 (or whatever.) This makes no sense - now it's by the bread, across from the beer.

So I completely understand your frustration. But I'm glad you got to see this beautiful scene and that you shared with us!

LLcoolJ, I was on auto-pilot for years in there. I just don't have time to waste, n I hate that too!

Lynn, It seems to happen most places just before tourist season here. It's very aggrivating when only getting a few things takes so longer. N My feet have been sore.

You know, maybe we should start going in the store and asking for the manager first. Then show the manager our shopping list and say please write down what aisles contain these items today. Good idea huh?

Some of the best light reveals its majesty in the exact moment you captured here.

Hope you found your t.p. or at least an old Sears & Roebuck to take to the outhouse.

Gran Annie, I was surprized to still see color there I was so far past sunset.
But if I had to wait for the mngr to figure it all out, it's still take too long!- You wouldn't believe how fast I usually walk thru the store...

JanF, Sometimes I'm just lucky I guess... I walked a very long way for that $1 TP! Thanks
