Didn't see this one coming , did you?

.

It's all how you frame the shot, the colors, the light, n the reflections.

I love the dreamlike quality of reality in this one.
.
This shot was located a few moments n steps from the last posts pic. I was standing on the front-beach next to the large harbor pier. These pics are of the short-pier, where small sea-craft park for limited time. The Harbor Masters shack is still closed, tho, so this guy didn't have to register with anyone.
.
Ah, the freedoms of the off-season... it won't last-

Xray, I'm still trying to decide if my printer will work, or if I hafta pay the store to get paper prints. Don't know how large it'll still look good yet-

Fleen, thankyou. I've had tons to pick from from that last day off- Good landscape subject helps!

I bought you ink and professional quality paper, and a paper cutter for a reason...

You have such a great eye for wonderful shots and it shows in your photos.

you hsould also consider stamping a logo in the corner of all your pictures before uploading so no one can steal them and then claim them as theirs

MB, I've actually considered the stamp thing, but it always ruins part of the image- n folks who steal will just crop it out...
I have the origs on my cam's card, n dated uploads on the machine.

If I find an issue, I can prove they're mine, altho negatives do make it easier.

Mike, Thankyou, guess this pic's a keeper- That's why I want to stay here, even in the cold.

This picture is stunning. X-Ray Chick is right: it deserves to be framed and mounted. I'd suggest sending the full-resolution file in to be printed, as home printers are never as good as the big honking ones at the store.

If there's a Wal-Mart or a Costco near you, you can usually upload 'em online.
