Yay!

The Boston Red Sox have claimed another World Series Championship!
...
I only got to hear about two minutes of the game on the radio during my break, n had to work where I couldn't really hear it. I really wanted to watch the game .
...
For two weeks now I've been consciously NOT stating I thought they'd win, because it would've been bad luck. It's nuts the things you do for your fav team...
...
Having been a fan since early childhood, and of baseball inparticular, I feel very proud of their big accomplishment for the second time this decade...
I only reget my Dad didn't get to experience the fun of it. I'm sure his ghost was cheering- He's the "why" I like it.

I started crying when that last pitch was thrown and before it was even across the plate , I knew your Dad was very proud of his Red Sox's. I bet Boston was Wild last night, it was extremly quite around here. Poor Rockies they never had a chance you can't fight Fate. esp. 86 years of it!

Skye, I bet watching it was pretty intense, especially in the 9th inning.
Boston PD is learning to handle the crazy people pretty well- News said only arrested about 40.
A friend of mine wrote a tune that goes "You can't cheat Fate, she never lies, You can't cheat Fate, Pray you get to say your good-byes, You can't cheate Fate..."

Xray, high five!

BBM, That's really going above n beyond the call of team duty!

GO BOSOX!! Kudos.

I will always remember Saturday afternoons, kinda snoozing watching the Sox with Daddy...

That's how I learned to love baseball!!

Fleen, Beantown's had quite a party n no rain on the parade this year. So many people went to the parade n were out of school n work. Did you get to see Papalebon dancing with the
"Drop-Kick Murphy's?"

No, I didn't. The stations down here did not cover the parade like they did in '04. I guess this year it is not such a big story as the Bosox broke the curse. No hype at all like 04.

I still celebrated though! If you have any pics or info (it didn't even get front page on the Sports section of our newspaper) please share!
