Ellen, your cottage is located directly across that water! Thanks- I'm trying to appreciate this place as much as possible while I still get to be here...
I went swimming off the coast of Maine once during the month of August. It took me about an hour after I had come out to feel my feet again, I do not want to even think about how cold that water is!
Honk, I went for a dip in Portland ME awhile back, n know exactly what you mean about the water Temp there! How can anyone even water-ski like that...?
It's still above 30 F cause there'd be beached ice flows if it wasn't-
