Sunset Shimmer

End of a day for most, it's the beginning of mine. Sometimes it's worth a two-minute stop on the other side of the D. Bridge, while on the way out to work, n look at something like this a few seconds. This was taken the last week of November during Indian Summer.

Mike, Thanks for the ad, They've all been appreciated! (it's been real quiet around here...)
Carmi has a great blog- with great original pics! I found him thru comments on Sugarloaf. There's a WWCP (What Would Carmi Photograph) competition going on a few blogs...
You're welcome!

SkyBL2U, a postcard canditate shot for sure, glad you were affected-
I'm very tired n sore from my work-shift right now, n a bit stressed about how to get holiday stuff done without much time or energy. I'll be over soon-

Your picture is better than postcard quality. I could stare at it for hours (if I had enough to spare), and wash away the tired feeling I always get this time of year. Thanks so much for sharing!

David, Thank you! It's strange that the being there had a different feel than looking at the image. it looked brighter to the bare eye...

Ellen, Thank you for the kind words about my photographic product- Great images are worthless with out some one to look at n appreciate them!

Hi Neo, I thought you got shut-off cause you've been gone so long!
We might see those keyes at low tide on the mud flats-

Wonderful shot - love the colors in the sky and in the reflection on the water. Really stunning. I love dusk.
