When living thru New England winters there's always a price to be paid for odd, warmer weather days. Usually it's in the form of heavy rain...
But sometimes we sit inside the cloud here in this water surrounded village.
It was over 50F degrees here today, a welcome change from the freezing temps we've been enduring.
At least most of the ice melted from the the storm two days ago. The day began misty, then got drier with about 500 feet visibility, then soon went down to 50 feet or less.
These are pics of the same spot by the Boat Ramp Beach near my home, taken within the span of an hour, photos shown in reverse- time taken order.

Beautiful! We had the same kind of day. It was too warm and there was heavy rain and tornadoes. Yikes.
Great photo works. Our weather is just like yours. Hard to live with it.
Hi Cloudia, Thanks
Aloha!
Lynn, I heard about some nasty tornadoes north of Atlanta- Glad you are okay! Alot of folks weren't so lucky with those storms as reported in the news- thanks
Tabor, Thanks. Yes I appreciated the temp, but think I'd trsde for cooler sunshine anyday...
Happy New Year, Snaggle! Hope you are well.
Your photos are gorgeous! They make me want to curl up on a window seat and stay snug and warm and enjoy the view.
I've missed you!
I love how you take us into your ocean world and through the curves and time-reversals of your special place.
and please make sure you come over and read the response I'll write to your comment later, something about garments!! :) Among other thing that may pop out of my fingers to the computer.
And pretty cool to see Talon out and about eh?!!!!!
xoxoxooxo
Talon, thanks for coming by my comments again! I've missed you here more than you know. Glad you've enjoyed my images. I hope all is going better for you now too! Thanks
JanF, n I didn't even put the altered original in the line-up this round. OK, be there soon. Garments? Leather garments? Actually I have a Leather hat from "South of the Border" in SC.
Beautiful shots as always.
I answer to your question on my blog about the Virgin Plane thing I'm selling. In fact it's a golfhead cover. I know, a bit weird I agree! :D
LLcoolJ, Thanks, n thanks for explaining- I'd never have guessed what that was! I don't play golf- only miniature golf!
If only we had all that moisture. Even living on the lake doesn't save us from this drought. Love the first altered photo so much. Great job.
Gran Annie, n the past two nights we've been having constant snow flurries in frozen temps again- Guess it's either a feast or famine in the Precip Department. Hope your party gets rained on soon! I like that pic alot too- Why it got the top.
We warmed up here for like a day and a half then it went right back to the freezer.
Winter's been pretty brutal here this year. Actually want more snow to help warm it up outside.
Neo, plus it's been so dry in the freezing temps n heater air, my nose has been constantly bleeding for months now- still, it's a relief not to have to shovel a foot every week again!
Just wait till the Nor' Easter gets done this weekend! They name it Nemo. LOL
Neo, I'll be out finding it too!
I'll organize a search party to come find you if you get lost in the snow. Except it might take awhile since we'll all be looking searching in the snow drunk! LOL
Neo, You have no idea! Sleep, more work, then blog Catch-up
