One morning this past week I stuck my cam out the kitchen window in the crisp air to grab this bright sunrise over the B-cove. Soon after, it was beddy-bye time. Later I awoke to the rain. It has been cold. Now time to return to work again, n here comes the warmth.
There were so many errands to run today, I didn't get many chores done this Day Off. I'll be catching up all week. Have I mentioned recently that I really hate shopping on Saturdays due to the crowds? I hate blocked isles slowing me down.
.
All these huge vine leaves out the window are down now, along with most of the woods.
As predicted the marsh grass down near M-cove has lost most of the yellow hue it had earlier before I got there today. When I drove by here yesterday, there was a Blue Heron wading right here. Even tho the sky was blue, cam only recorded the haze, n only the water reflection shows it.

I've had a pretty low-key day...

Low key can equal stillness and quiet...not a bad thing
btw, I am laughing, how blessed we are.
Love that pic of the morning sunrise.
Just inspires ya to have that a good day no matter what life throws in front of ya.
Beautiful shots, Snaggle. The first one is gorgeous! What a view to start the morning (or even to send you off to sleepy-times):)
You live in such a lovely place. Great shots!
Some really nice photos here. The sunrise one is so pretty.
Just edited my rypo "tun" out...grh! The eyes are too burnt lately-
Paige, I love quiet when the downstairs folks are out- O was too low energy tho! I wanted to take more advantage of it!
G, Thanks, I had trouble picking out which to use, I like all 6 of that subject= looks like I made the right choice!
Talon, Thankyou- The view from the kitchen table has kept me from moving out for a long time now!
Lynn, my spirit is very attached to this spot. I've been here 24 years this past month! Thanks
RoseD, blog pics seem to need alot of dramtic umph to stand out on the majority of monitors, I've noticed. Subtle can be good, yet not be as preferred. I'm still wishing I had a better cam. Thanks.
I hate shopping on a Saturday too, and of course each week leading up to Christmas it gets busier. Yuck. I wish I could do all my shopping on-line!
Great photos. :)
Saturday shoppers should be booted repeatedly in the buttocks. (Whoops, not very enlightened of me, was that?)
Do herons eat herrings??
i hops a herin wood not eets me??
wondering if you can use some extra fast cash - no joke
I'm wondering if you could use an extra $200 for a 2 sentence link in your side bar or archives for one year. For the 1st year I get 20% but don't forget to renegotiate or remove the ad in the 2nd year..
Look at dubblex's blog. His is in the sidebar. My ad is in my archives because I get more traffic.
Once you agree I will send my contact to look at your blog so she can make you an offer.
Joy
I did because I need the money - and it's only literally 2 sentences and is for higher education which I believe in!
If you go to my blog and look at the past few posts you will see one called recognition and it has the link for the higher ed site in my archives. It's an easy thing and they pay next day by paypal.
I didn't have your email so put here.
LLcoolJ, Aha, someone who knows what I'm talkin' about! I'm a really fast shopper except on Saturday... Thanks Joey
JanF, Oh yeah- next time I'll bring my leather Indiana whip n move those Dooggies outta the isle! I can't do that tho- it's too mean...
Ya know, I bet they do! They get alot of those orange-sided minnows lately- don't know what they're called...
BB, I don't think they like furry treats! Hey, Maybe you could be color brothers, n he could give you a ride in the sky?
Joy, Been awhile since I heard from you! I have to do research on that idea, tho I'm unlikely to put any ads here in my fun place. I'll try again to search the ads down (out of time today) to see what you're talking about. Thanks for the offer n idea. And especially for another comment-
Yippie-yie-oh -- Rawhide!
and awaaaay....
JanF, it's a short one, n I don't whip it good yet... mostly hit the wrong stuff- just for show, n of course I got a brown leather back-pack with a kids paper mache` dinosaur egg in it for the Temple of Doom.
