Pie Eyes

I'd wanted to post this on Thanks-giving...

Better later than never. I like this version.

The pumpkin pie was slightly damaged, with a depression resembling a frown. Then whipped cream n cranberries came into the picture.

Now the pie looks worried about the toothy, little pumpkin eyeing it...
It should be worried, for pie is no more!

Ha ha I love the grumpy looking Pumpkin Pie, that sums out how I'm feeling at the moment. :D I hope it tasted good!

LLcoolJ, BBM did the eyes. I feel quite non-joyful lately also. The pies were good- didn't try the Pecan one.
I just put Stolen on my sidebar to drum you up more chuckles.

Tabor, After desert there was alot of whipped cream fun, even when we were stuffed.

MB, That was a bread pudding topped with cranberries, it was good.

Gran Annie, I think the Smashing Pumpkins started it.

I had a slice of cherry pie about an hour ago. And now may go make a nice cup of tea, and try to resist more pie. I have not weighed myself, but I bet I've put on 6 or 7 lbs in the past 6 weeks. So much yummy harvest-time goodies to enjoy. Oh well, we need a nice little "cushion" on for the winter anyway, the way God intended for us, right? :)

what a great festive table, and an obviously a whimsical family!

xoxo

Jannie, We lobe our pie here- You'd think I'd burn off more cushion with all the exercise at work 8 hours per day, but the older I get the worse it is to do! We love our whipped cream painting!
