I know! I've never seen so many leaves. Someone gathered a bunch of them up yesterday at the condos, looks like. Beautiful tree and I like that you named it.
I am trying to remember what we do with ten acres of leaves. Other than try and sweep them off the porch and away from the doors, I think we just leave them (no pun intended).
One can almost get lost in the woods these days with all the trails under several feet of leaves.
They look so beautiful on the trees but I right pain in the butt when they fall!!
So beautiful! I love running in the leaves. :)

I love the gold and blue combo. Only my Japanese Maple is clinging to her color now. :)
Lynn, I've known the tree for 30 years, n named it when the LOR Two Towers film came out.
Gran Annie, I guess they manage to compost themselves. Leave the leaves! If this were 10 acres I'd leave alot of them too. I move mine to the woods. Here Neighborhood Associations look down on those who don't rake.
Tabor, You must be careful about stuff under the leaves. Don't trip or find critters the hard way...
LLcoolJ, Dangerous for fast drivers in the rain n back up the rain water too- Sometimes it snows on them n I have to shovel it. Easier to get it done quicker- but yup!
Jannie, You could have had some awesome swooshing here...
Neo, You mean the one I last had? That is an altered pic of me in costume you know- for Halloween.
G, those harmless looking leaves just can't wait to trip me up n help flood the basement!
Talon, Most but some shrubs are bare here now- n snow today! Just a little bit- We are good at making our own colors tho!
I can hear me swooshing now!! :)
xoxo
Jannie, me too - SHWOOs, Shoosh!
