Deck Garden

Here's some of my deck Garden back in June, beginning to sprout up. Mischief thinks it's really her garden of course.

Blogger finally let me upload it, 3 days later... I was gonna insert it with the Deck Garden Report in the post below (oh well).

I'm really glad the "pillars" didn't kill it all. I'll have to shoot an updated view soon, they're more spread out now.

You sure have a green thumb!!! Mischief is a cutie, I just got a black kitten a few weeks ago. I had a black cat that lived to be 22 years old once!!!

Nice deck.

MB, yeah, it's about 6 feet in that grey barrel. The Blue Spruce tree isin't much in the pic, (who's baby tree is just in front of it), is from Earth Day at McDonald's in 1986 (the same year we got guppies). It's 20 years old!

Layla, welcome to my commentz!
...if I only had a farm... someday. I think my plants are the best part of the deck...
Ya I knew you were a cat person. I'm on my third black one. Past black favs lived 19 n 17 years. Earlier Tortoise-shell grandma lived 20. That they can live so long is amazing! I hope your new kitty brings you many, many years of joy.

I love your deck garden! It's so very you... especially with kitty in the middle of the picture. Now all you need is a couple of chairs, a fresh brewed cup of tea, the sunday paper, and lots of hours to while away the afternoon.
Mind if I join you?

David, me too! That would cut way down on the chores, n 9 lives are better than one!

Ellen, I have fold-up chairs in the house by the door to bring out. I got to spend about 15 minutes out there today with my tea n a book, first time all summer. Still have zero tan this year, it's shady there after 3.

Come-on up n relax, we all need a cool break from the heat n humidity this week!

Batten down the hatches, sweetie!
Beryl is heading your way. That ought to keep the tourists away for a few days, until they come down to check the damage.

Take care.... I'll be thinking of you... prayers and good thoughts that there will be minimal problems.

Thanks Ellen, the Prayers worked, all is fine here, n about to post about it.
