Lotsa Ice
Finally the North East USA got nailed with frozen conditions. Fortunately here, we were spared the snowy part, n just had to deal with ice and sub-Z temps.
Up in VT my cousins are taking cute doggie pics in the deep snow n going skiing, along with slipping on ice. Without checking FB I wouldn't know what was going on.
I've been slacking off FB time along with going cold on blogger time too. But probably it's mostly due to not feeling like it, n trying harder to get more sleep into my time. I want to get over the sinus infection / lung congestion that is still dogging me.
Button pushing is still the easiest art thing to get done. Only once now this year in the first month, with a week to go. Not like me to lose the motivation for my only fun.
There is so much I want to get to, but without the rest to feel up to it, it will take even longer to get to. Work has become even more taxing physically than it was, due to the new machine n having to rack-up the entire production by myself, Without the other person n crouching over all night I am way too sore n becoming a miserable, cranky, old person.
My pleas to management to switch my position because I am too old for that crap is falling on deaf ears repeatedly. Perhaps I will have to quit for them to realize I mean it. Switching to a new company wouldn't be too drastic a pay cut because I didn't get the $1 increase others did with the minimum wage increase. I'm trying to avoid getting less than I am now though.
Full-time isn't really available this time of year, n switching to an earlier schedule will make it hard for me. There is no way to line up something else while my current job is sapping out all my available energy.
It's very tempting to just quit n get everything else taken care of, without being up all night hurting my back, feet, arms, neck, ect, plus have no pressure put on me by what others want to do faster. It would be tough having no income for awhile tho. So I magically keep doing the job, against my better judgement.
I'd much rather not worry about being ready for another week of the same grind, n write some weird thing about what this silly-looking 'puter doodle might be...
But it's back to only having time trying to go faster at what I know I do not want to do...
Both walks into the work building are suitable for ice-skating! No salt stuff! The lawn is the only way to the doors...
Now this week Day Off was torrential downpours, also expected to freeze over for going back to work time.
Many years ago, my mother got me some pretty, white ice-skates. When the kids were little, I ended up selling them to buy diapers.

Ellis, TG I finally got this comment!
I can count on you
To actually read
N understand
Plus amuse me
With the clues
As you glean
What it is
I try to mean.
If only I was not
So attached to this place,
Leaving could be easy
To slow down my rat race.
I do like your nouns,
And all the verbs too!
For stopping by to check
A heartfelt Thank You!
:-)
Ellis, :)
