Words Play

Summer here today,

Get outdoors,

Go play.

Warmth sighs,

Humid tears up,

Sun in her eye.

A Smiley face

Windows open

So hot this place.

Fly buzzes the room,

Flutter moth,

Climbs the moon.

Cool Return,

After break,

Arm sunburn.

Pretty plants,

Buzzy bees,

Sugar ants.

Pollen itchy eye,

Ka-choo tissue,

Skeeter gotta try.

Peaceful nap,

Mowing stopped,

Book in lap.

In the back of the garden there are Worn dirt bike tires around a worn table. My feline friend found the purrfect nap spot...but this was one month ago, just altered this week.

Just a beautiful 2 Days Off... Sniffing from mucho tree pollen. Lots of mosquito bites too. Looking forward to buying a new window screen with no holes. Got a new fan today, n found shorts n short sleeves.

Off to enjoy a hot stroll home...

Your poem is so whimsical in spite of the bites and sneezes!

Tabor, i did have a fly n fluttering moth in my room by the plant light! So they helped. Glad you enjoyed it.

Gran Annie, thanks. After the sets of 3 I took the middle ends n made a list, then altered a few letters to make sense of it. IE: Sue was tissue.

Lynn, thanks. She's one of the 4 kitties here.

Hi snaggle I see your starting to write more poems.
tires to small for rug rat swings.
could bolt them together
and make a ladder for
climbing green beans
or even an ivy.

Ellis, Why is a poem sometimes easier than regular writing? Yep there is lots of Ivy back there also, but this stuff belongs to the home owner who doesn't want anyone to mess with her mess! I think I could have fun with it too! Thanks
