Spring Rains

April Showers

Bring

May Flowers

and mud!

Lots n lots

of showers

Flood Rivers

Invent new lakes,

Erase our drought.

I don't mind

If I stay inside,

But today I'll walk

or almost swim

Hopping puddles

like a frog.

Won't be long

'Til we see

Some Polliwogs,

'Cause just yesterday

I heard

the first

April Peepers!

Yay!

Better than piles of snow, I'll bet! I like your poem, Snaggle.

When is too much rain enough rain? Our farmers are needing a lot right now but too much could cause damage. If only we could regulate the faucet.

Lynn, way better than snow this time of year. Some folks I saw online in Maine n Vermont reported snow from the same system! There are still large puddles in spots, though dry air now. Thanks.

Gran Annie, lots of waterlogged areas here, but the bogs like it, n the frogs should be plentiful. Too bad we can't ship it out there when you need it. !'m surprised there isin't better weather control at this tech stage! Here the crops would've drowned- they aren't planted yet. Maybe will indoor plant seeds later this week.

Tabor, thanks. I did have to use different coloring methods to get the greys to differentiate better, but only got red n greens.

The rain drops are like color splatters reflecting rainbows of sun.

Colleen, that's a nice comparison I had not thought of yet!
When I see the oscillating, overlapping, ripple patterns I always think of Physics lab in high school when we made similar waves in a tub of water, using blocks of wood with little motors on them. I think of waves n how they act. But always they are pretty n amazing! Thanks!
