Keep Shoveling
Finally I got a couple Snow pics in here from the first week of the year. It was about 14 inches n drifted higher. It was over the second step when I went out to shovel the front walkway. I stopped for a minute to take this pic.
Most has melted away on the one almost 50 degree, foggy night we had last Monday. It's been below freezing n Arctic again here since that.
This is the same sidewalk angle as shown previously here. It was too soft to walk on top of the snowbank, n too deep to go thru to even use the sidewalks.

Your title is a comment I used to make to my first husband whom I divorced in 1975. Often I had to say to him "keep shoveling" when he was weaving some wild tale of lies:)
We finally have warmer temps here plus we had rain that washed away most of the piles of snow. Yea!
Looks like work, I remember hard icy snow shoveling. Be careful!
I can't even imagine having to deal with that - it's beautiful, but I'll bet it's tiresome to shovel.
Gran Annie, as I remember the other half of the comment was: "... It's getting deep in here!" in my case it was taller than my big shovel- I have an old Ex like that too!
Glad it melted away for you-
Tabor, It was alot of work with little time to do it- Had to still get to work right after that! Yay, it was so cold it wasn't really heavy for big shovel loads tho-
Lynn, I always shovel then go back in n change to drier clothes to go to work. Yep, it's tiring n back gets achy, then work has more shoveling to do.
Fortunately, we didn't have that much snow here, about 4 to 6, which for a change of pace, was actually properly plowed out and away.
It's been up/down here. We've finally got clear walkways and the snowbanks are shrinking. Probably just in time for another round of shoveling. :)
G, I must say our plowing was good for that one here also- considering how much there was n the frigid conditions. Glad you didn't has as much to shovel!
Talon, We still have some ugly snow lumps but it's above freezing now for Tuesday rains coming- yay, no shoveling this week!
Snow shoes, got any you use? :) :)
xoxo
Jannie, nope just the Bean boots-
I bet that shovelling keeps you fit! Looks like hard work, and from here very beautiful, but not much fun when you are out and about in it!
LLcoolJ, shoveling heavy snow makes the lower back ache, but tho it was deep this batch was fluffy so not too bad- Last winter's blizzard was much worse to move-
