Serene Cove

Sunset the other night was a tad warmer, but very windy. You can see the wind gusts rippling the water, plus see the still bare tree branches here. Sunset colors have seemed muted recently, shrouded by clouds on the horizon.
The trees are budding quickly now tho- foliage won't take long now.

I like how the whiney, little monkey seems to have a blue-hatted lion ready to pounce on him!

You are certainly imaginative with your creative abstracts. I did not see the lion until you mentioned it. You must be thinking of warm AFrica!

Tabor, I'd love an African Vaca someday- Think I just have animals on my brain all the time...

Gran Annie, He looks like he's wailing pretty loud, too!

Lynn, This place is good until so many people start crowding in as it warms up- This time of year I enjoy it more. Thanks

Snaggle, it's been the same here - hazy and the world seems reluctant to color up again. The last few days we've finally had some mild night temps and I've noticed the buds on a lot of the shrubs are starting to burst. I'm longing for the green this year.

Talon, I feel teased with the milder temps without the leaves yet too- The garden will seem so much sweeter this year for us north folks waiting so long this year! I can't get the indoor seedlings to venture forth yet either...

Great monkey! :D

The branches are still bare here too but we finally have buds on them so hopefully the foliage will appear soon.

Beautiful shot, Lynn's right you do live in a beautiful place!

Whooohooo, new buds budding.

I believe in kingdom come
and doing as we'd have done.
I believe in spring.
All I really understand
about the masterplan
is we are here to sing.

I might use that in "Love IS The Answer."

maybe? Maybe not. :)

we'll see how it goes.

or all I really seem to know
as seasons come and go
is we are here to sing? (I am here to sing?)

Oh well, just songwriting out loud today. :) Thanks for being an ear.

Spring is good.

It is wonderful how the earth on her arcs around the sun gets bathed in varying lights on her 365-day transitions, that circle and come back 'round again. Pretty cool!

LLcoolJ, Thanks- Yep, I like his expression. Hope we all get our summers worth of green this year, without the floods n droughts, n crazy storms! The place is what keeps me sane...

Jannie, Think I like the "Masterplan" one better for bigger impact of the "sing" line. Lyrics always know when they are done, when they don't sound right any other way-

Spring is Fantabulous! (Achoo!)

JanF, Must be so much work to make a living from Ebay. Would be a good time to sell a bunch of your music talent too- It's all I can do to feel like playing guitar- been too sore, n now allergies are pretty bad...

Yep, but I have to have the new songs all done before I can sell 'em. All in due time, all in due... And have fun in the meantime.

Lyrics changed a bit since above. I'll keep at it.

ebay, eBay, I put up 27 new auctions in the past 3 days. Bustin' it. Gonna take some time off Wednesday, tho.

Hope your allergies clear up soon, Snag.
