Spring?
Where's the green promised on just past Saint Patty's Day? Where has the warmth been hiding?
It's been avoiding the Cape today on it's astronomical debut-
On the Vernal Equinox equal time is applied, not just implied.
Here 's to hoping green things spring forth soon, not remain closed in by bitter cold much longer...
This version is my favorite- you can almost tell what the original is...
This oak leaf with snow pic was taken on the front walk after work with a flash...
Happy Spring to you!

Gran Annie, lol thanks, I needed a laugh- it's snowing another 5" here right now!
It's like January here, too, Snaggle. Snow. Snow. Snow. Not a trace of spring. I can't wait until Old Man Winter gives up and gives in!
Talon, looks like a foot out there now! Darn- I really don't want to shovel for an hour before work... Me too! Thanks n wishing you warmth soon!
We are expecting more snow here this weekend. Blimey this is unusual for the UK, normally the weather is quite mild by now. Today is pretty nice though, so I won't complain. Love the leaf shots.
LLcoolJ, you too? Sorry to hear that! Wow, the weather has us all begging for warm rays... Thanks Best of weather luck to you.
Wow - that oak leaf is beautiful with the snow on it.
Lynn, Pretty enough I went back out for a pic- thanks
The sparkle on that is dazzling. Chilly again here, supposed to be down to 37 tonight. Hope you are warm, and toasty. Spring is almost there for you! I know you will enjoy it. And it you. Green will soon be seen, and not only in the washing machine.
xooxo
JanF, The sparkles are reflections from the flash hitting snowflakes. it was pitch dark out when I spied that leaf, before it got covered with another 8 inches of snow. There was even talk on the news about shooting the incorrect Groundhog! I'd love to start growing seedlings soon...Thanks for the optimism!
