Another very local snow view from last week, from the front porch of MapleBeard. Due to the kids being downstairs until late December, this view had been totally blocked with junk furniture. Now we can visit on the swing bench again (with the snowy heart cut-out).

I like that snowy heart. I'm glad you'll get to use it again. SO glad those kids are gone. Beautiful shots.

I'm glad you got your bench back! I'm delighted the kids are gone. I hope that means you've been able to get some quality rest, Snaggle!

Old mapleBeard left all alone
now left standing in the snow
A view from this way or that
none the same but all alike
and even from an altered view
he stands out.

I am surprised that the heart on the bench does not show up. Looks like a lovely mosaic.

Lynn, It's the landlord's, but I adopt it when they're not around- I'm very happy to be able to walk on the porch again. Thanks

Talon, It's a nice piece of out door furniture- I still need to clean the porch up n move the bench to it's previous spot facing outward to see the boat ramp. Definately sleeping better0 Thanks

KatheW, Peaceful about a month now, n been snowy the whole time too! Thanks

Paige, I'm debating if thst's a rectangular monster mask over a purple-nosed reindeer facing front. The bench needs a clean n move, but the snow's in the way. Glad you enjoyed my Rypos!

Ellis, Thanks for your MapleBeard prose! Think there's a few critters hiding in the hollows too- Maybe owls n bats along with the chickadees n titmouse birds.

Gran Annie, The effect used a rotaing mirror at 180 degrees which missed the heart in that version. It does! Certainly brightens up that dull porch! Thanks

They're GONE!?!?!!!!!!!

:)

Such pretty heart cut-outs on the swing. Reminding me of how lovely and artsy life can be -- like pretty golden musical notecards in blue envelopes with words of unicorn castles and hassles.

JanF, That was written aways back in "Slippin" post when Iwas freezzin the patootoies off...

Glad you finally received that stuff. I'm thinking of doing up a bunch of those in little hand-painted wood frames for summer fleamarket time.
