Avalanche
Rolling down a mountain
Catches up a boulder
Picks up speed plus mass
Rips down the spruce
The lodge crumbles
Skiers flee
Filling in the valley
Mountain isin't as tall

Rumor starts
Makes fun of victim
Words twist ear to ear
Dropping adding
Change meaning
Told by friend
Down the line friendship ends
Play game of Telephone

Little snow ball
Where did you come from
Where are you going
Will you go to the ocean
Or down to the sea
Are you seeking out sun shine
No down the back of my neck see
What your really big brother did
On Snaggle’s I did read
Ellis, Good little poem! thanks-
Those ocean balls were kind of large n very heavy- naughty snow balls
The Telephone Game - always interesting that what was started never ended up the same.
Neat photo, Snaggle!
That's pretty cool, Snaggle.
Talon, Yep, when Telephone snowballs in real life, there's damage. I like the Madagascar II Out of Africa's monkey chain relay-
Lynn, thanks- The coves are frozen ice on the other side near D-bridge, but haven't gotten there for pics this week. More snow today forecast.
Ah, a boat ramp!
Telephone always cracks me up. Even with just 3 people it can get messed up in translation.
And the first part of the poem reminds me of the commercial where the guy's car gets swallowed up by a rolling snowball mass. Funny!
AWESOME snow pix.
xoxo
phone tag, he said she said, they say...hum maybe they could work it out by having a snowball fight instead
just a Friday kind of thought
mmmmmm picking up speed...
I like that thought...
Great words to compliment some very interesting picture.
JanF, not many roads lead underwater... I remember at Girl Scouts we played that game alot in teams- n it would amaze me how screwed up messages got. There's an avalancje commercial? I need to watch more tv- Thanks
Paige, a snowball fight is such a splendid idea- unless your the one getting nailed! I throw a mean snowball! Today there's very frozen hard snow-rocks out there.
A pillow fight would be alot softer...
Mama Z, Thanks for the visit! Thanks
Neo, momentum- I'd actually considered a way wierder, more complicated crazy thing- but it didn't make as good a metaphor.
ArtsWeb, How'd you sneak in there while I was keying that in? Thanks. In fact, most of these poems begin with a look at a pic, then it's altered cousin...
again- nice winter photos! and thanks for your nice comments on my photos...love the remark about the shark hahah
Kathew, Thanks, you're very welcome! - I've been known to do posts about sharks... "Shark Tale Soup" comes to mind if you wanna search ESR.
