Here comes our coldest temps here yet this year, in the teen Fs, expected to be down in single digits by Monday.

I'm trying to decide what to call the menacing character under the rainbow sky today- I must be really tired! Why is "Blue Meanie" all I can think of? Must be another case of Beatles On The Brain! Been singing "In my Life" today on the mind music that won't go away. Maybe it's a Blue Hut... Been reading too much Star Wars "New Jedi Order" series again!

.How I'd like to just stay home in the relative warmth under the blankets this week-end, perusing pretty old pics... but got another couple of work days to get thru in the freeze.

We're in those single digits here...and the up side is the gorgeous sunshine. At last! Some brightness!

At least the picture can give one hope of tomorrows to come. That is okay all I saw was a big brown bird. Now as for sleep I think I got too much this weekend. 13hours sleep Friday, 10 Saturday and a 6 hour nap Sunday. I have a bad too much sleep head ack. Compared to you we are in a heat wave in the upper 20's
Did I forget to mention those are the days expected high temps? We're about -5F now.

Talon, I don't know how Riley n Charlie can bare going out for walks in that! That Sun does look deceptively warm, n at least warms the soul- I kind of wish I could com up with an original species name- but Meanie is sticking!

Ellis, The flapping bird was a large seagull, some of the smaller ones behind him are Sanderlings, pipers, n small gulls. Note, when you get closer to them, they fly away! I haven't had that kind of sleep hour-age since '04 I believe! I soooo want it! Summa time...
I think Blue Meanie actually looks kinda cute and sweet. I'm weird, eh? Rainbow sky is a neat effect.
Mom said it was -10, brrrr.
Cold here today too. I have a fire on as I sit to save on electric a bit.

JanF, Hmmm Meanie is sticking... You like angry bears? Just wondering... Thanks. Our wind chill was like -20 yesterday- but today we bounced back up above 20F- yay! wonder if she meant -10C? Way colder there! If I had a fireplace, I'd put in a wood stove n be toasty now...
