.. Remember Troll dolls? This reminds me of one with short green hair, but with a Space Invaders
(the Atari arcade game) body.
.Asteroids used to be my favorite on the large console. I wasted tons of quarters on that one, circa 1980. I often hit the 100,000 beep n got the extra play.
.
Young folks may not realize that we actually had to go out to play games in the old days- Now a days we can sit in our house on tv, on a laptop, or portable device n play electronic games at whim, without per play paying, n without a line of folks behind us watching, n waiting their turn. How easy gaming is. I still play Blungo n FreeCell while waiting to load pages...
How much the world has changed these few decades...
.
Never know what I might find...from the most unassuming nature scene.
Yes, these are all from this same pic...
which wasn't bad to begin with-

That top one looks like the troll alien sees his reflection. Cool.
I that what one calls a lave, or is there another name for those things.
Oh, that third picture -- I just love that!
I never did get into any electronic games until MSN's Flexicon about 3 years ago (started out with Chicktionary) initially to win a video camera. But by the time I had earned my 30.000 points the cam was no longer available. So I got the KitchenAid mixer which I sold on eBay. Turns out I spent 75 hours of my life to get a $200.00 Mixer! Silly me.
xoxo
Things have definitely changed in regards to child's play. Love the photo, Snaggle. And I definitely see the Troll head. Don't know the Space Invaders body, though, as I don't know the game!
Gran Annie, Big brother Alien is watching the troll alien, or it's a wierd looking ship up there maybe.... Fun effects I've figured out.
Ellis, I'm not sure what a lave is! Game or alien or effect?
I applied a combination of effects, texture, several color changes, n a revolving mirror in Paintshop Pro.
JanF, Ya, I'm partial to the composition myself! Odd where that got to tho...
Bummer on the cam! I used to have a little, round web cam to hook up with a usb- but Mischief thought it was an evil toy (she hates black items- really!). She demolished it while I was out one day. Wow- that's $2.66 bux per hour!
Talon, Folks around me at work just seem so complacent about the availability of button games. I still don't have any newer systems like gameboy, Playstation, or wii everyone else seems to have.
the rocks someone stacked up going out into the water. Is it to keep the sand from washing away?
great original shot. funny...wishniks playing atari
I used to have a two-headed troll doll. I don't know what happened to it - I'll bet that was rare. Love that last shot.

Ellis, we have lots of Jettes n breakwaters. That one separates the public beach from a private beach. They also do help keep sand from roaming to an extent.
Paige, now thats a strange twist on old trolls, eh? I remember the Wishnik collection my older Sis had for years.
Lynn, we had a neighbor with one of those I remember- Mine was just a plain small with red hair.
Fonts, pretty heart graphic. Are you a person? I couldn't tell from your blog. Seeing as I paid for 4000 fonts already, I really don't need to download any. thanks anyhoo!
