Diff Shotz

Posting up a couple more snapz from my walk last week for ya... ...
Less than 60 feet from the local fav pizza spot is the gazeebo on top of the bluff uptown with the pier n an island in the BG.
...
I photograghed a wedding group here five years ago, tomorrow. Happy to report they're still together...
... Happy Anniversary Jess n Jim!
Someday I'll have time n bux to send ya a few more free prints,
if I ever get through the tax forms,
n get more photo-printer ink that is...
...
Today I only got a couple hours sleep so I could get up to do all the around noon-deadline errands again, like mail pick-up n taking a kitty for the rabies shot clinic at Dr Harry's on the Boulevard to benefit
"A Helping Paw" Org.
The cats are too fat to both fit in the carrier anymore, so the other one has to wait two weeks for the next clinic. My cats don't like going for rides, so putting them in the back of the truck in the cap is a bonus cause I don't have to listen to the mew-whining the whole way!

Here's Mischief, today's needle victim, out on my upstairs deck with the same maple tree, construction, n the R's in the BG. She only goes out supervised, n is pretty good about not taking off (for a cat).
...
Well have a good week-end,
I'm reading tax-form instructions, myself.
Need the refund back ASAP if ya know what I mean-
back to work!

No superstitions about black cats I see. I'll bet she's a big hit on Halloween!

Kittys are notorious for not being good car travelers. I've had problems in the past with that myself. They just don't like those rides to the vets. I did it once without a traveling case, and regretted every minute of it.

Good luck with the tax forms. I do not envy your time with trying to figure them out.

Banana bread baking is tonight!

Ellen, Awhile back I had a cat who lived to be 20, who'd sit still (no carrier then)next to me driving, calm as could be!
Also at one time, I had 3 black cats, I don't discriminate due to superstition, but do knock on wood, and dislike certain numbers on commentz...

Mmmmmm... more bread, Yay!

Hiya David, glad ya made it back (n commented)! I'm just jolly with tax-instruction reading n learning new forms to attach on very little sleep,
while working nights...
How are you?

Loooooooooooooooooove the gazebo! I don't know why, but I've always been drawn to them. They are just so pretty and calming. There is one a few towns away from where I live that is beautiful....so many people get married there. We have one in a park near my place, but it's pretty old and not as romantic. Ah, gazebos. Thanks for the happy thoughts before bedtime :)

Great pics, Snaggle!!
I would love to see more pics of where you live. The gazeebo looks like a great place to take some wedding pics.... and the island looks like a great hideaway. :) Can you get to it easily?

The cat looks like a character too. And it survived the trip there and back. Silly creatures, really.

Go well with the tax returns. Not alot of fun, are they. Will be praying for a great return though! :)

*hugs*

OiLfield, You're welcome to happy thoughts anytime I can manage to muster some. My lil'sis got married on a gazeebo in Florida too, about 10 years ago.

CJ, good to see ya in the commentz again. The Island's privately owned n ya need a skiff (small boat) or can swim at low tide to one sand bar. That kitty is an intense and intelligent character!
Have ya scolled down to see the other recent pics?
Taxes will take days for very little back, but better than paying out!

the gazebo in town is in such an open spot to the public... i often found it corny to have a wedding there. i think this is because the majority of people that get hitched there aren't from town. Tesno is known for it's tourist season, and those are the ones that always did the corny beach themed stuff.... i remember once wheni was working at the florist we were setting up this wedding down at the point inn, that was a beach theme.... oh god.. there were shells and sand everywhere in the tent! i vowed i would never to that to myself... it looked so damn corny. i think they bought the shells in the store.. they could've been fake for all i know. i mean there are ways you could make it pretty and tasteful, and having a wedding at the beach is awesome, but by god people, go find your shells on the beach, don't buy them at christmas tree shop!

i miss Tesno. :( taking walks, riding all over hell and back, the beaches, the sledding (!) the close-knitness of the neighbors always watching out for each others kids and stuff... it was a great place to grow-up :) oh yeah... and i miss laughing at water wizz after someone would dumo laundry soap in the water fountains, and bubbles would be spillin gout everywhere... i never had my own car or liscense until i went to college, otherwise i probably would've done it too, atleast once.

I always found that Tesno had the prettiest cove of the Cape. Every time we traveled out to the Cape, I would insist that we go through Tesno first.... it was just that pretty!

MB, I can see it now- people getting plastic shells n sand wedding party favors... N I lost plenty of soap to the bubble fountain on account of BBM as it is!

Ellen, ya it's fun to drive or walk all around the Boulevards which goes around all the beach in a circle.

Snag - I second Ellen's black cat comment.

Somehow, I figured you might own one. ;)

You might want to look into e-filing. It might be much easier for you.

Have a great weekend.

Peace & Hugs,

- Neo

Jen, glad ya like 'em, I'm always doing land-scape element composition - as art... usually put too many elements in for the traditional photographer's taste- but always do it this way-
N Taxes are taxing... !

Neo, I'm actually good at telling black cats apart- well this one is special!
No efile for me, need several forms they won't allow again, tried to do last couple of times, still nope this year again-
Will expain the week soon-
*Hugs back*

Ya readers, Black cats are ok, even if the rumor is they're re-incarnated witches- that's incorrect!
But having the wrong number of commentz here is also easily turned positive...

At 6:49 AM, Blogger Ellen said...

I never knew that the superstition of black cats was because the were re-incarnated witches... I always thought it was because witches had black cats. Good little piece of info there!

I notice that ALL the buildings I go in to bring food, never have a certain "dreaded" floor. They skip from 12 to 14.... and I know there's a reason, but never heard what it was. What is so unlucky about that number?

Ellen, good question! It always gives me negative vibes. I just try to dispell negs I feel.
I'll have to look up the ancient superstition book why "they say" again. I just try to stay blog-positive, when possible!
Bad luck superstitiously associated with black cats is only a sign when they "cross your path"
- wonder where I put that book...
