Snow Ville

Couldn't get online at all yesterday, n keep getting bumped off today. The new cam pics take hours each to upload. So you'll get them few at a whack here.

I thought this pic taken from my deck of my side yard which is next to a little road to the neighbors gives you the best idea of how deep the snow is. If you look at the door of the white house on the left, also realize there are steps up to it.

My goodness - look at that snow! It's beautiful, but a lot of trouble for some, I guess. My friend Enid moved to Cape Cod during the winter last year and reported to us that it took her a hour every day just to shovel a path to the mailbox!

Really beautiful and cold winter you are getting. Hope people are being safe in their ventures.

Lynn, I measured 28 inches on my front walk, but many drifts were alot higher.
It keeps getting filled back in.

Tabor, I've been out there alot, n many layers is a must. Everyone is being careful, as visibility around snow piles is limited. Roads are very narrow, n still not bare pavement. Thanks

Yay, Patriots!

And yay (kind of) on the snow. :) 28" whooo. But it must be a bit warmer now with all that for insulation?

Boo on slow connections and uploads.

G.B., We were nailed- Drift at the end of road was 8 feet high- shoveled, n shoveled, more before work, more after work, n still am shoveling then second storm... Taking a break today if I can get away with it- Thanks

Ellis so good to hear rhyming verse from you again!

You'd be crying
N not go to the store,
You'd shake your fist
N shout loudly
"No More!"

But another 5 inches
is forecast next dawn,
I just keep shoveling
On n on , n on!

Jannie, Patriots ROCK! Watching Parade on TV right now, Yay finally over 30F degrees- Been single digit n windchill subZ all week- Been very frozen. Haven't got connection to work almost all week- Want to upload more- will take all day! But I'll keep trying.

Neo! I can now move to the North Pole n live in an igloo successfully... Move over Polar Bears, I'm going to borrow your coat! May no moving shadow block the light under the door-

Gran Annie, somehow I skipped your comment, but the ice window has unfogged- Crazy conditions for this area! If I had goats they would have so many snow mountains to climb.
The kids won't find that swingset for awhile! Yep- See If I can get more new cam pics up here...
