Bow Lines

Apply texture, change colors, rotate image 180 degrees, then put up the rotating mirror... Voila`!
A cute grey alien... unless you see something else...

I was at the pier last week. Here's a 35 foot fishing ship bow, with anchor lines neatly stacked, n the harbor's "W-Island" off the starboard bow. Rumor has it, the island is haunted by native spirits. There's currently four buildings on it, privately owned (cost 4 mil bux), n accessable only by boat. In 1980 there was a big fire out there. A neighbor has night pics of the huge blaze.
Have I previously mentioned this village used to be a Wampanoag summer camp?
.
Have a fun week!

Snaggle, the first photo reminded me of the Wizard of Oz :)

Fire on an island sounds very scary - even with all the water around! Imagine having enough money to have your own island? Well, I can imagine it, but that's about it - lol!

Of all the days chose
I'm sick and disposed
To try and post you a rhyme

An island with a ghost
An old Wampanoag post
And a fire lighting up the sky

Talon, Follow the Yellow Brick Road! Interesting take...
It must be terrible when you forget the coffee milk at the store too! Where'd I put those oars... Honey, please help me with the canoe again. Ugh, it's raining! I wonder where they park the car...

Gran Annie, I've got at least 10 characters already on ESR too... This one looks like a little girl with blue hair kinda. Still you wouldn't believe the pile of rejext ed versions!

Ellis, I hope you're feeling
Better not too teary.
N sneezin' n blowing away.

Just another silly picture
from a real one to ponder
Thanks for your visit today!

A native summer camp? They must've loved it.

Looks like a birthday cake at an alien party!

I know what you mean about islands being built on and only accessible by boat. There is one in particular in Mahone Bay like that. They put a castle on it.

JanF, Yep, for prob centuries before the poor natives got run over by a boatload of tourists in the 1600's...
Hmmm- Bday cake, now I'm hungry!
Aparently it wwas a large mansion that burnt down. A castle would be tough getting the bricks n cement over there by boat... A great idea tho. (If ya got the bux!)

Ellis, Achhoo! as the Kleenex goes!
hope better your nose breathes soon...

Lynn, there are alot of nice things to see around. Of course my pics usually leave out the unsightly stuff...
