Plush

In the NorthEast USA we're all thrilled to schedule another big blizzard storm n a foot more of snow just in time to cancel everything for St Valentine's Day.

I get the feeling work won't cancel tho, n I may have to get there early or maybe cancel myself...Luckily I'm not dressing up or eating out anywhere.

I Splurged at the Dollar Tree to get myself a Rose Plushy for the table. It's large, fluffy, n won't even wilt, or die. Yes it was $1!
Wonder If I'll get to the half-off chocolate sale in tome for dark chocolate truffles...

Hope your Val Day is less snowy than mine-

A poem I was thinking
would go good in this spot
yet, is my heart in it
for yours seemed to have drop

For no roses or chocolate
will you get on this day
no Happy Valentine's day
will your boss even say

just plow through the snow
make sure your here on time
i'm sorry for such a sad poem
and not a very good rime

We got socked with some snow where I am in CT, about3-6" of powder. I was going to get my taxes done yesterday, but the snow cancelled that out. I'm hoping to do that on Monday, but ya know, more snow.

Poem after desk49 poem

there may be snow
but your rose will glow
and for only a buck
that was great luck!

chocolate you will buy
on sale, and then fly
to enjoy by the light
of a blizzard so bright.

Belated Happy Valentine's Day from me. Love the rose and think that is a perfectly soft and warm way to celebrate.

Our Valentines was not snowy but we've got some coming our way now. Hopefully it will be the kind we can sweep and not shovel. Love your rose and wish I had one:)

Lynn, Thank you! Hope your day was good-

Ellis, No time to contemplate
deep poems today,
had so little sleep
n worked early,
home early in the snow.
Egads- now it's all chest deep!
Shovel shovel shovel...
Build an igloo,
it's warmer in there...

G.B., I;m having fun unable to get health application done on crappy connection in time, n got tax forms to find out I hafta pay alot extra without coverage n doing the State thing first. Ugh taxes are hard to do this year- I shoveled a huge dune in the driveway tonight. chest deep n blowing back as I shoveled.

Jannie! Aonther poem!
The rose is blossomed
n not even frozen.
The blizzard gusts still howling
N drifting, fine powder,
Light n fluffy,
twirling in snow-devils
down the road trenches.
A desert of snow dunes...

Tabor, To you too- of course I had to miss sleep n work again. It's perfect eye candy for me, n a good pic experiment. Thanks

Gran Annie, The holiday must have been tough for you this year- The snow height all over now ois chest to neck deep. So hard to shovel so high- The neighbor's swingset is now invisible!
I wish I had a bunch of those to pass out!
