That photo is just gorgeous, Snaggle - and love that soaring bird. The poem is lovely, too.
The storm
some not
wind or rain
nor sheets
of ice upon
this land
but those within
raging day, night
never to end
never to end
Lynn, The cloud Thunderheads all went just North at sunset that evening- My fave of the pics that day, inspring the words. Thanks
Ellis, the clouds were spouting some lightening too. but the storm written of was indeed conflict. Thanks... Raging never to end...
What a shot, Snaggle. The serenity about to be shattered...
I loved your poem...."to a resolve/ to face head on/to dive in/" - that's a beautiful definition of courage.
Yes, dive on in, it's never as bad as we fear!
What a looming gorgeous shot!
xoxo
Talon, I took several striking shots but the bird won! Thanks. I also think the abstract altered image looks like a guy diving. I've been accused of being very brave-
JanF, Sometimes clashing heads cannot be avoided. Thanks. The clouds were even sptting some lightening.
