Day over
Night mask descends
Year over
On memories depend
.
Snowy cold
Time grows old
Icy cold
Forward bold
.
Over the cove
Reflections
Old dreams
Apprehensions
.
Day ends
Snowy clean
Year begins again
Icy Gleam

Another day
A year gone by
Snow blowing
Time flies
Reflective dreams
Of apprehensions
The coves freezing
Its watery ice glistening

I can see the cove is icing up.
Have a great time blogging

Ellis, Thanks for the different take on my theme- It was difficult to stick to my formulae at the last two verses.
I finally walked down there again- yay! It's colder in here too without blasting heat downstairs, btw- Blogging is the best! I will- Thanks

I sort of do wish that the New Year was in June or something...so it would be a warm embrace instead of a chill one!

Loved your poem, Snaggle!

I wish you the very best new year ever!

Lynn, Thanks. I almost didn't get over there before all the light was gone for the day- First time for a walk a couple weeks.

Ellis, Thanks- I like how you find a new way to retell the info! I was tieing together the end of the year thing with the invented image, btw-

Talon, It's been very cold at home lately. Well in Aussie n NZ they have warm holidays n outdoor parties. Then they freeze in July. They forecast New Years to be above freezing temps for the first time in years. Of course, I have to work. Thanks.
A better new year for us all- Amen!

Lovely, Snaggle.

Sorry I missed this first time around.

There are only 5 blogs I like to read and comment on every post of. Yours is one of them.

I hope any and all apprehensions of yours fly away forever, to be replaced with peace and love.

xoxo
