Autumnal Equinox
Equal parts dark n light
Time marked in thought
Day, night, death, life
.
Rewards seen
Knowledge gleaned
Harvest near
People dear
.
Gifts formed
Ideas born
Hard felt knocks
Neighbors talk
.
Rest some more
Feel restored
Getting less
Wanting more

Time marked in thought
Day, night, death, life

........................ poem by SnaggleTooth today
Talon, Thanks. I've got quite a collection growing with no two exactly the same- Would make a great calender or anthology one of these days. Alot has happened to bring those words to me that way.
Lynn, Thanks- These were truelly my thoughts of the occassion.
Ellis, All is relative- Without each other, nothing has meaning, I believe... Glad you like the words. I again timed errands to be on the bridge at sunset, n wasn't disappointed!
Opaque, Welcome to ESR comments! Thanks for noticing the season metaphors. This seems to often be a pivotal day for me in many respects.
JanF, Yep, that contrail ran just the right way to go with the clouds direction! Some days the minute I see One of the pics I decide to post, it's right there= Boom. Current prose! Actually, these are up n coming new lyrics.
Artist Alert!
I create all kinds of things. Closet musician, song-writer, Story, NF writer, Book Designer, Poet, Painter, n Sculptor. Working another job tho. Long hair, fairly ancient.
Where's the Dough? Maybe I'll get paid some instead of eating it. I'll get there one day soon, because I'm very determined n hard-working. Some one has to do it! As usual, I'll volunteer.
Time n energy helps.

That photograph is absolutely stunning, Snaggle! The colors and the serenity are just so so beautiful. Your poem is so reflective and so thoughtful...
I like your poem, Snaggle. And it goes perfectly with this season change.
One then two
then back again
What is one
without the other
yet
what is the other
without the one
Thought provoking poem.
Like the picture.
This is a good metaphor for seasonal changes and more...

Love the photo. The changing seasons seem to be a popular subject on blogs at the moment.
LLcoolJ, It's more than a meterological calender change for me- It's an anniversary / turning point of sorts. (n a good blogging excuse too).
You described it!
great photos and I love to see you writing poetry!
oh and me reading it too.
Gran Annie, Yep, I did! Thanks
Paige, I seem to be doing more little poems lately. They just write themselves you know, when they want to! I'm glad you can read too!
Wow! What a sky, amazing lines.
Lovely poem too. I love how they just flow out of you to our waiting hearts and ears. Thanks!!
Happy fall.
xoxo
