Hear the sky calling leaves
Reaching up to breathe
Wind sculpts twisting shape
Cools tempo drawing late
.
So thin sleep becomes now
Stirring back to life
New beginnings rise
Waited so long to try
.
Longing to soar over
Shade sitting under
Green shoots pushing through
Seek purchase finding truth

The photo is gorgeous, Snaggle. There's something about branches and sky that is just lovely - especially twisted, interesting branches.

"Hear the sky calling..." - I love that line!

Ahh, eternal green reaching for the truth it is programmed with, a lovely thought.

The truth of green so pure and beautiful, like this poem and photo.

Hope your sleep has not been too thin.

Lynn, Thankyou- totally brought on by looking at the pic yesterday.

Talon, I was out sitting on the woods hill to escape the neighbors party noise. I looked up n there that sight was lookinf so unique.

Paige, it all looks so great when ya leave out all the unpleasant stuff- If I put work pics here it would totally kill my fun spot tho!

JanF, Maybe I'll find time to go back n get a pic of the leaves before gypsy catapillars take over n eat them. My Sleep has been extremely skinny all week, but winter's hibernation is over for the plants.

Will a second round of leaves come back to replace the critter-munched ones?

JanF, in June 2006 we had a bumper crop of catepillars, blogged about here
http://snaggedt.blogspot.com/2006/06/who-ate-green.html

n it's been fairly bad since- but that was the worst I've ever seen-
Sometimes we get a second burst from the oaks.
