Got Clicks

Yay! I went to pick up the mail today n found my 1GB SD card order. Promptly I loaded up Digi-Cam, n put it in my pocket. My short errand run was unconsciously timed so I was on the way home near sundown, about 6:20pm. There was a little break in the clouds to view the sunset from the D-bridge. After the overcast day, it was a welcome sight. I would've stopped for it, even without Digi-cam. Great way to start the month...

Most of the trees are green or bare here currently, except the trees right on that abuttment edge of the bridge were dressed in colored vines. The yellow is Bittersweet, the red is the Native wild Holly. At first they were back-lit, n didn't photo well- until the sun popped into them setting them aglow.

I'm extremely sinus challenged this week, with my hands full of tissues. I've been keeping a distance from all other folks today. I'll consider calling into work tomorrow, but don't have a fever. It's prob a cold developing into the sinus infection I get every fall, n I don't get sick pay. Can't wait until this clears up- I'll be adding extra garlic to my soup today.
.
At least I got a Clicks to play with again, n pretty colors to enter into the Fall Leaf Parade Competition of my fellow bloggers...

Snaggle -

Laughing out loud at Blue Bunny! :) I love that you would have stopped to look at the view even without your camera. Thank you for sharing that moment though and happy for you that you have your SD card now.

Great pictures. I'm partial to sunrises over sunsets (must be my name ;) ).
Also, to say "potty" in Japanese is "o-shi-ko" and I think you are required to giggle when you say it. At least my kids always do.

Beautiful. Our leaves are green, some years they just fall off still green and brown on the ground. some years they brown on the tree then fall but they do fall just not in fall. more like winter.
Now this year I'm thinking we may have a cold one so be sure to get your snuggies before Texans make a run on 'em

feel better

BB, sorry to hear you're not a big water fan. You could always get "swimmies" so you would float.
I don't like walnuts in ice cream, but good in cake n cookies.

Lynn, It was a long wait just knowing I couldn't click-
there's a couple other girls who like to stop n see the sunsets there also, only one other was there that day, with ipod ears on.

MB, I've seen some really nice ones at other blogs already. I was feeling left out- I'd like to see some of your leaf peeps!
Already made soup this week, just did the veggies yesterday n feel better after eating that with the extra garlic, n herbs from the deck. My throat is raw tho-
Thanks for the thought-

David, I ended up sleeping thru most of the sun today, got cloudy again- but did open windows n go on the deck a bit. Not going anywhere today-

Talon, n in the nick of time to get the water, sunset, n those vine colors too- Thanks for get well wish- feel ikky today.

Cookie, I see sunrise often before sleeping, but thru the trees to my east, so have few pics of it. Thankyou for teaching me my second word!

Paige, Our trees peak in November, but near ponds it's earlier. These colors are vines on the trees- the trees were still green- It's always cold in this apt- can't afford the heat up. I wear alot of flannel. Thanks, having an un-paid sick day *rats*-

The images of autumn colors are breath-taking. To sense the transformation ongoing in nature prompts one to reflect on the ongoing transformation being mirrored inside the self. Everyone and everything is changing now.

Beautiful pictures of the leaves -- I'm digging taking pictures of leaves right now, too. So glad you got your 1GB card and could break out the Digicam! Yippee!

I'm sorry to hear you're having sinus trouble. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Liara, thanks for the compliment n visit. I agree, I can feel everything changing, n me changing also-

ThommaLyn, I've so enjoyed your pics this week also- n your lovely prose to accompany them. Glad I'm not left out now. Been sick all week, (seems like wasted time) Thanks for the well wishes, i'm hoping tomorrow is better-
