Swimmin'

Due to a proliferation of water falling from the sky, Day Off has been forced to remain indoors. Photography has been post-poned, n no errands whatsoever will be accomplished.

Before the Sun went down, n heavier rains began, Rain Toad was registering three inches of water already! We are now reported on the weather to have about 6 inches of rain here this day! Rain Toad has overflowed, only measuring to 5... Thunder n lightening had me unable to get online when my errand run went down the drain, so this waited awhile!

The trailer park down by the boat ramp beach is flooded, n news reported many flash-flooded local roads. Guess I won't attempt an outing at all. I'm just glad I got to avoid the massive puddles at work by being home today. (Whew)

Seems like Mother Nature conspired to give you a real day off!

I hope the downstairs peeps were quiet for you and that you got to catch up on some good quality rest and relaxation time.

We've gone 8 days without rain which isn't unusual, but it's a record for this summer!

Talon, ya, it was tough, but I'll take it! Luckily, i'm not out of anything that can't be lived without, n the drain out there didn't clog, so I didn't have to go out to dig the mud again. Downstairs are away somewhere, but next door (ten feet over) are down.
Congrats on that dry spell!

G, I always think of swimming. Usually tho, I gotta do more than just step out the door!

Ooo, Talon has a new gravatar, cute.

I make it a hobby of only parking next to puddles, at least that's how it seems to work out for me. And always on the driver's side of course.

We've been getting tons of the wet stuff too. I even wimped out of a walk today 'cause raindrops wuz a fallin' on my head.

But at least my eyes weren't turning red!

Lynn, I do overwork myself all the time- Thanks.

Paige, Thanks, not only am I on a hill, I'm upstairs- Unfortunately, I'm still trying to get errands done.

JanF, You might wanna wear boots or rubbers while parking in those puddles. Or get a special mirror attachment on the door to look down while parking- Our deluge was too heavy for walking too.
Crying's not for me cause, I'll never try to stop the rain by complaining, because I'm free- Nothin's worryin' me...

Oh my goodness, that's a tremendous amount of rain! Poor rain toad, what a relief that he didn't drown.

Sorry to hear about the local flooding, and I'm glad you were able to stay home and out of the mess. Stay dry!
