TG I made it back! All is well after 800 miles, one new tire, tons of road construction the entire way out n home, a nasty allergy eye attack, n no sleep yet now 2 am Tues , since Sunday am...

ESR is loaded with current local scenery, many made into strange n colorful altered images. Words describe some of SnaggleTooth's life n opinions. Most poems on ESR are spontaniously written into the editor. Enjoy the sights n whimsey.

Ooo, I'm first! (I hope.) Unless another of your fans is furiously typing away to beat me to this.
800 miles - quite a haul in such a short time. Glad you're safely back.
I used to sculpt angels out of macaroni and won 17th prize in Grade 4 for mine! Kept it so proudly on my Prize Shelf with my kindling-chopping tropies until mice ate it while I was away at college. Took me until last summer to get over it.
Cheers!
That is some angel - is that a headstone? Amazing shot.
Hope you have a chance to catch up on your sleep. I always forget that as the nice weather advances the construction takes over the roads making it frustrating to travel.
JanF, You'll always be first on my list...(maybe) Let's just say my eyes, hands n neck need an overhaul.
Wow, macaroni angels do sound yummy (cooked). That would steam me up too- I had a plaster abstract piece that got an "A" from the prof n a blind guy who liked feeling it, then "Blob" knocked it off my dresser, so I know that feeling- I never get over ruined artwork!
Talon, that's right inside the main gate as a veteran's memorialup on a large wall. I really like it's style n expression.
Now we have night construction too, so it never ends. the whole way up 95. Way home I got detoured off the highway 3 times, n cut down to one lane at least 20 locations!
What an amazing angel! And I love the lily pads.
Sounds like it was one heck of a trip -- uck on the road construction. And allergies and no sleep on top of that? Bless your heart! I'm glad you're home safe, and I hope you get some good rest and have sweet dreams.
Hello - coming to you via Jannie's blog. Love, love, love that angel. Wow. I collect folk art angels - that one is great.
I like your blog and will be back!
ThommaLyn, Glad you enjoyed seeing what impressed me the most- Too bad your froggies can't use those lilly pads in the stream...
Thankyou for your well wishes- still pretty zonked.
Lynn, Welcome to ESR! Ah-ha, an angel collector. I have some ivory porcelain angel statues my grandmother, then Mother, used to decorate for Xmas with. That cast bronze figure there is prob about six feet across- Would be tough to get it on the shelf with my small ones. I'm actually thinking of some oil-painted angel studies with lost at sea folks in my near future. I do believe in angels.
I've done a few figure sculptures awhile back too-
Ya all come on back anytime-
