Trophy of Spring

.

Smile on me with green

Bloom swollen buds

Warmth is near

Bright staying longer
.

Waiting too patiently

Thru time frozen still

Feel life's desire

To seek stature

Acquire age, grow

Bear fruit, replicate

Stir tiny seeds

Soak up the joyful rain

.

Remember who you are

Find a place to root

Where life isin't cut short

Visit with me dear green

Me, keep trying to get it too work! Only done it 4 times already, inserting div manually, but double/triple spacing again!

Lynn, Thanks. I keep hearing the "sky calling Leaves!" from Twisty Twig tho. Got just a few green leaves sprouting, n tons of rain.

Tabor, Yep, The longing for green plants to grow always gets me to write a motovational spring poem...

Ellis, Rain for Day Off, Sun again for work, frost expected Fri am again! Guess I won't do the seeds just yet- but I'm so ready! Thanks

I love the second shot. I don't know about Spring, it's like a summer's day here in the UK!

I can't wait for the "smile on me with green" - if we can just get past the wintry temps and snow showers. Geez, but Spring is dragging her heels this year!

Your poem is full of the beauty and hope of spring, Snaggle. I hope your next day off is warm and sunny and green-tinged :)

The web is so vast that it's easy to lose places and people we truly resonate with - like you.

Thanks for visiting and prompting me to see and ENJOY today's post here that stirs something very vital and youthful within me!

ArtsRichard, Thanks. I like them both, the first, which was the last made, speaks life n motion to me- the "Oomph" I guess.

LLcoolJ, It took alot of playing to get that texture n color, thanks. (Only about 20 rejects). You get a suddenly Summer? That's only happened in New England twice that I can remember.

Talon, Doesn't it look like it is on that top pic? Not outside yet tho! I'm having alot of impatience lately... 33F right now! More rain for Easter too! Thanks

Cloudia, awww thank you for saying so. It is difficult to get to all the blogs- not enough time in the day. I'm wondering if there's a spring in Hawaii? Thanks for dropping in!
Aloha!
