String o Dinghy

I have a pathetically large number of Dinghy pics in my collection, n here's another. The altered pic is better than the actual in this particular case, I think. On the water side of the little playground at the back beach is this long line of rowboats- no two exactly alike, chained to the fence links. On average these small craft (some are sail boats) go for about $800. If I had that much disposable bux, I'd prob spend it on a new puter first tho...

Are these all privately owned? It's a neat pic. I love how the altered photo adds so much dimension!

I always love basking in your photos, any and all.

Can one really have too many dingy photos? :) Not in my opinion!

They are so cute.

The altered one looks like the boats are hovering over ice! What a cool effect.

Speaking of cool effects, I have 2 days left on my PaintShop Pro trial. And I guess even tho it is now called Corel, it is the exact-same JASC one! I've been having a lot of fun with it, and can't even see me looking at the Photoshop trial. PaintShop has all I need! And probably more. Just need the hubby to sell a car so I can pay for it! :) Hubby? Oh, Hubby? Want to go ahead and get the video editing bundle too. Might as well. Seems a pretty-good price at under $130.00 for the bundle.

I need to figure out how to save an image I've removed the background from, so it will stay that way. Both BB and his karrit, after I've saved, them went to white space all around, boo hoo. Oh well, learning as I go. I am just so so pleased to be able to do these things now, really a dream come true, as I've been talking about all this stuff for a while, as you know. And now can let my creativity soar with the pictures and such! whoo-hoo!!!

Snaggle, wishing you happy trails and seas with just enough wind to take your sails wherever you want, now and always!!
xoxo

Lynn, Thanks- I had a pic with more boats it it- but the composition wasn't as good for a photo.

Talon, oh yes, lotsa boat folks here in the humble, n crowded cttage village. Many have boats in the yards n driveways too. tons-
I like the surprizes I get with tonal quality, n warm/cold depth changes, thanks.

BB, Wow- that's cheap. The puter anyhow- The sunscreen too expensive! I don't believe in it- we need vitamen D. Of course It's not as sunny here as TX...

JanF, Thanks- well, you haven't seen them all- some folks get bored looking at boats!
Only 2 days= bummer! That's the program I don't wanna have to dump to stay online- I'm really attached to it. I have animation shop too, but haven't posted those as it won't do the frame timing right n blogger wants avi s.
You can't save a transparent BG. Always goes white! When doing layers tho, can copy n paste it to a new image bg.
Thanks- I'm not liking my current work schedule, btw

LLcoolJ, Electric motor? or have outlets for gizmos, lamps, radios? Most folks here have the gas-powered outboards or a cabin cruiser with the inboard car-engine-like power, all battery dependent starting. The big ones need moorings $300 or wharf slips going for $1200 bux per season here!
I'm perfectly happy with paddling about the coves here. But the channel or Island trip needs a sail or motor.

Ahhh they all go white. Bummer.

Yep, the little Acer notebook has 140 gigs or so. It's so small I lauged long and hard when I first saw it. But I like the portability.

Sleeeeepy!

Catchin' your zzzzs??

JanF, Work forced me to change days I didn't want cus someone left. I don't like time off before payday! I'm choking on hd of 15gb, n second hd of 20gb here.
If I suddenly stop visiting-that is why. Can you say freeze crash testing? Can't afford sleep!
