Pastel Horizon
Opposite the awesome, partly cloudy sunsets that happen at Fav Beach the sky often turns pastel colors, as it did the last day of August. Difficult not to feel calm n peaceful sitting on a rock watching the sky change after a rocky journey there.
... Or is the sky watching me?

Got to agree with feeling calm and peaceful here...
I love your fav beach - so beautiful and I would love sitting there on those rocks, too.
Opaque, The space n calm water reflection add to the feeling, much needed. thanks
Lynn, Thanks, Wish I could get back there today but short on gas money this week.
You say the beach is "rocky" then your computerized picture looks like it has a bit rocking chair rocker in the middle:)
The sky is always watching you, Snaggle and waiting for your camera catch it on its "best hair days," as you do so well.
And I'm struck by how calm it appears juxtaposed to what Irene was.

Gran Annie, The beach is sand, but at that edge there's a big rock barrier of boulders. The pic was taken near the end of it I went out to. A rocker- wish I had one. I see a sky whale...
JanF, Or "best Air Days!" Got so many sunset pics it's crazy... Of course going out there in the wind always messes my hair! Sometimes at dawn n sunset, the water there is like glass- N yes, after that big storm too
That photo is stunning. It does look peaceful and calm. I'm not a great fan of beaches, but that looks beautiful.
LLcoolJ, Thanks. The pic's just rocks, sky n water, but the beach is implied I guess-
