The cloud bands spiraling over the Cape from
Hurricane Bill to the East didn't faze any
beachcombers along my shorewalk during low tide today.

Wow, amazing picture of the cloud bands from Bill! Looks like you had a good shorewalk, and I hope you've been able to get some rest, too.

The cape is still beautiful even with the cloud cover. A shore walk sounds lovely.

I'm so glad he passed, I was afraid of that one Bill was huge!

ThommaLyn, Thanks, I've been trying to take it easier in this tropical weather, of course I'll pay for the procrastination, I'm sure-

Lynn, There were tons of people lying out n swimming under the cloudcover, I walked half-way around the whole village, which is almost an island.

Paige, I was a bit nervous due to the size n strength too- back in '02, "Bob" caused much damage, so am leary of the simple "B" names-

Talon, Thanks, I decided to put off a few things, n skipped errands to check it out. We got alot of severe downpours overnight Sat/Sun, n now NewFinland's getting a second landfall as a Cat. 1 storm

Most people are a bit foolhardy nowadays.

You know, surfing in hurricane weather and stuff like that.

Nifty pics just the same.

Thanks G. Bet you'd enjoy my "Sailing in a Hurricane" Sculpture. That's my idea of Fool-hardy... Guess alot of folks did surf.
Heard about that little girl at Thunder Hole -- very depressing. I once stood on that same spot when I was about 10. Folks never learn respect as well as they should.

Cookie, Thanks. There were so many different greytones n levels to the cloud sections that day.

Oooh, Bill I love you still. I guess I always will.

Remember that song? Was that Laura Nyro?

Thankfully a very quiet hurricane season. So far. Knock on wood! Hope they stay away.
