Inbetween

We measured steps
Of our journey
In the middle
Playfully
Thru shallow seas
N dimming skies
with pretty bright
Streaks of weariness
at day's end.

Gran Annie, Thanks. Can you see the little doggie inbetween the two folks?

Lynn, only mere morsels of the captured incredible sunset yesterday. I really liked this composition.

Neo, It's measure twice, cut once!

When I was about 10, a friend's wooden house wall was taken down, I took the pieces n made a tiny shack out of the lumber with a hammer n bag of nails. My parents kept calling it "the outhouse." It finally keeled over in a windstorm before the summer was over. I learned my carpentry rules very young...

Neo, which reminds me the old em acct had 450 new messes to delete in there, n I found a Jannie song in the middle of it! Why I don't go there much unless I have alot of time...

Holy cow! That's an AMAZING sky. Never seen anything quite like that.

I hope the weariness will give way to restedness.

JanF, that was the best of a group of amazing sky pics. No rest this week, not even on Day Off which was moved until later in the week, resulting in 6 days in a row again with no OT! Thanks anyhow-

Neo, I have no idea what's going on there... Will check em, thanks

May I suggest something? (please don't be offended)

Last line:

"Streaks of weariness at day's light."

Neo, to each his own inspiration. No prob- When I was watching the couple n puppy frighten all the birds away, they seemed very weary as they tried to move, as I was too- why that word came out...
