Heart Color

.
In his heart he was yella
Afraid to tell her
Surely rejection would follow
.

.
His heart was on fire
Enamoured of her
He was happy standing near by

.
.
His heart felt so blue
When she walked away
Secret still safe deep down inside
..

I like the idea of putting the poetry with the different pictures or version of the picture

I loved this, Snaggle. I love the changing heart colors. What a neat shot that was! Maybe one day he'll be brave and confess and then his heart will be like a rainbow :)

ArtsWeb, I was inspired by looking at the different versions to write that- thanks

Talon, Thanks, I hope he gets courageous one of these days too. A rainbow would be an excellent progression choice, tho it didn't want to with the current effect tricks.

cold of heart
yet flames do rise
fear of truth
before her eyes
cold of heart
still prevails today
he left her wondering
why he went away

Lynn, Thanks. Wish I could find the old ones I have out back in a pile of notebooks for this occasion.

Gran Annie, sometimes- thanks. My pics speak to me.

Ellis, Thanks for the cute poem!

Love, love, love-- still so
magical and mystical. Secrets kept and never told.

Hearts and colors. Moonbeams too. Kootchie, kootchie, kootchie Koo.

Xxoo

JanF, I wonder how often that scene plays out...
"kootchie Koo" remeinds me of Ginger on Gilligan's Island!
