It's THAT Time

.
.
In three more days I'll miss the "OOoo-s" n "Aaahhs!" on the bluffs as the fireworks go off with out me. Day Off got changed, n so now I have to work n miss all the crying, frightened little ones, n the unbelievable, huge mob of folks invading my village all week-end, especially Saturday.
.
Starting today all work orders will skyrocket, n I'll be working early n late hours to fill the huge numbers. It's the busiest tourist week of the year on the Cape.
.
I'll be hard pressed to get around to my blog reads or to post, unless I can think of a quickie on the spot n find time to upload. It's likely I'll be over-tired n too pooped to pop here, instead choosing collapse in order to deal with the earlier start times I have to aim for... I need to try to sleep earlier too.
.
Whatever here I don't get time for, fear not- I'll return in about a week of I can still read n move... And away we go- That's a pic of the reflection on B-cove from the boat ramp beach the other day.

What a lovely spot. I would love to see that in person someday, but don't want to be throngs of tourists. You sound almost relieved to be out of the 4th melee, Snaggle. :)

hang in there through hell week! I miss laughing and making fun people stuck in traffic trying to leave our little village in throngs. too bad I wasn't old enough at the time to drink, b/c I bet that would've made it even better! Our fireworks are on friday night this year, and I'm excited. then we are off to Maine for a week. I hope that you will be able to enjoy the weather atleast a tad this weekend- it is supposed to be utterly wonderful weather!

You sure live in a beautiful part of the world, Snaggle!

Riley has already been hiding in the upstairs hallway - people are already lighting rockets since about 11 this morning starting early celebrations for our Canada Day today!

Lynn, I do like the fireworks n seeing the Little Ones, but do hate loud crowds. Feelins like an invasion here-

Ellis, I'm always up at 3, work these nights, n really should go snooze, cause in hours early- Wish we got more than peanuts n time n a half over 40- After cut hours all year- we'll take it!

Ellis, not easy getting beat out by "Speedy-Firsty" Lynn!

G, What sanity? What's that up there? What now? Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most... thanks

MB, I'd actually like to go instead of being stuck at the stupid machine all night. When I'd previusly drank- the challenge was waiting for the restroom line at Marc's...
Have fun in Maine- Don't scare any Moose or Bears!

Talon, Yep, I'm partial to this spot.
I already told Mischief to soon expect fireworks n people everywhere while I'm at work- but feel bad I won't be here.
Animals do tend ro freak out, having seen all that movie bombing on tv...

BBM, I'm gonna miss you too! Wish I could go- btw, I left you a home phone message. But Lucky you - don't have to work!

Cloudia, Altho blogger just ate my first round of replies- I shall try to somehow enjoy the day-
Aloha!

Enjoy your company n BBQs everyone!

We are on the lake and fireworks surround us. My cats are fine, the chickens are fine the dog freaks out and we will learn how the goats will take it.

Everyone is very competitive and put on some expensive and spectacular shows and we just sit inside our comfortable home and watch.

JanF, Have a grand time, thanks

Gran Annie, sounds like the good spot to be there- you can see alot from here also, I just won't be home- n I don't wanna work! Sitting down sounds great right now... my feet are throbbing-
Hope the goats deal well, have fun!
